Our Members got the first round of ICT Index Data at the weekend, enabling them to assess the statistical performance of players across three crucial disciplines – Influence, Creativity and Threat.

Week by week we’ll be using this data to analyse teams and players in an attempt to aid Fantasy team selection. Our first article for Gameweek One turns the attention away from City’s sparkling 4-0 win over Swansea and looks to the reigning Champions, examining how Alex Ferguson’s men performed in their 2-1 win at West Brom and assessing the key performers on show ahead of their Monday night meeting with Spurs in Gameweek two.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

    Hi folks, could really do with some help with this!

    Silva, Zamora & Odemwingie (benched for next week when he should be fit and hopefully do well given his fixtures)

    OR

    Etherington/Sessegnon, A Johnson (on the bench) & Van Persie

    I fancy Van Persie to spring a surprise over the next couple of gameweeks, but I don't know if it will be enough to justify his price.

      the key words in your post are "tinkerman", "I fancy" and "spring a surprise"

      so if you want to take a fancy gamble then go for it but you already know it's risky

      Alright people. How does this lot look for the coming week? I think that there are a few better players out there but thinking that the guys I have have got a good run of games. Whilst Lescott is a class act I'm not sure of his returns for the next 2 games, Bolton and Spurs. With that in thought I've plumped for Baines over him. Always better to shift a more expensive player to a cheaper one anyways. Here goes. Thoughts welcome please...

      Silva, Downing, Aguero and A Johnson are the only ones with away games, all have good games in the coming weeks so I reckon this is a good lot to face the next few weeks.

          Those Guardian squadsheet predicted lineups really are useless.

          For those not familiar, they use BOLD writing for probable starters and regular font when it's contentious.

          I'm having difficulty figuring out who to bench between Schwarzer and Vorm... There are obviously still big questions over the solidity of the Swansea defence but if I'm not playing him in a home match against Wigan then I don't envisage ever playing him over the rest of the season. Difficult to justify his inclusion in my team in that case.
