We’ve a couple of Premier League encounters to tide us over this afternoon. First up, Arsenal entertain Villa at the Emirates as Arsene Wenger’s men look for a fifth win in six attempts – the likes of Santi Cazorla, Theo Walcott and Olivier Giroud have earned plenty of new investors over the last couple of days as a result of Alexis Sanchez’ hamstring problems. With Villa failing to score in each of their last five, the Gunners’ prospects of a third straight shut-out also look likely here.

Later in the day, Southampton welcome under-strength Swansea to St Mary’s at 4pm. Eljero Elia was drafted in by 100,000+ FPL managers on the back of a double at Newcastle last time out but with Sadio Mane back from the African Cup of Nations, the Dutchman’s new owners will be eagerly awaiting Ronald Koeman’s team sheet. Like Arsenal, the Saints will be optimistic of a clean sheet today – Swansea are devoid of the suspended Gylfi Sigurdsson and have scored more than a single goal in just one of the last 11 Gameweeks.

Paul Is certain he won't make the same mistakes next season. Follow them on Twitter

May just stick with Cazorla rest of season...

Am so gutted I didn't have Sanchez for his huge haul (vs Stoke) and had brought Caz in. I then swapped out to Sanchez as felt I was missing out on all his points. Caz then racks up two big scores as soon as I take him out. Gutted. 🙁 :'(

Bellerin STILL could get rested. Amazing performance but he is only 19. Wenger might rotate with Chambers.

Walcott is a worry too. Guessing Arsenal will lineup as:

    Giroud
    Cazorla Ozil Sanchez

With Walcott as a substitute for Ozil

I just don't get you guys. I know you'd like there to be a settled Arsenal lineup but there won't be.

When Walcott, Ozil, Sanchez, Cazorla and Oxlade are all available there will be rotation. Arsenal have FA Cup and CL as well as PL. If you think Wenger will play the same team every week in the PL to suit you, well, dream on.

That's why Sanchez at 11.4 is not great value any more.

Just an update for anybody who saw my earlier post about the lad who was kicked in the head at my sons game earlier today

4 teeth lost, 3 attempting to be replaced but still in surgery....I feel sick for the poor lad...

      Thx for update.

Omg. Hope he is ok. Sure many folks upset. If it were son, I'd be a mess.

this, or Sanch, Giroud, Kosc/Ospina if you have midfield rotation worries.

Sanchez, Bellerin, Giroud is what I'm going with I think

Even tempted to lose Sanchez! Have we seen the best of him now that other players are back fit / in form?

Of course we have. But too many on here are obsessed with points that have already been scored.

Koscielny, Ozil, Giroud would be my three. Possibly Bellerin for Koscielny but I'm still not 100% sure he has nailed the position.

Very good week boys. Thanks for all the support from the community, couldn't do it without you
So far my 3 subs brought in 42 points.
    Cazorla 12 + bps
    Walters 19
    Giroud 9 + bps

My best weeks so far. 107 pts with Bertrand left and pending bps.
