Members Area and ICT Updated – Gameweek Two

The Members Area has had its final stats update following the 90 minutes at Stamford Bridge. Those digesting the data from today’s earlier kick-offs can now drown in all the stats, including updated ICT Index scores for the Gameweek so far.

Members should click on the “Latest Gameweek†tab on the dashboard to view this week’s top 10’s and use the Gameweek filter dropdown to select “Current Gameweek†when viewing the stats tables. ICT Index scores are available via the Fantasy Index tab in the Player tables.

Just as we did for Gameweek one, Members can read on for our take of the performances of note to this point…

      I'm going to wait for the norwich game. If he can't score then, I'll probably drop him. I hope they can land Juan Mata by then. I think one of the problems with Torres is he doesn't get the right service. Maybe Juan Mata and Torres can link up... I still think Torres and Liverpool would have been better off if he stayed.

      He didn't do much, looked lively-ish again but not much service and kept going out wide to get the ball. He never really looked like scoring. That being said, Drogba didn't really do much either when he came on.

      Malouda made the difference.

      Not good. But Chelsea were terrible throughout in the first half, he was getting no service at all and having to go out wide to get the ball. WBA defended well to be fair, they look like a different proposition defensively this season. Time to amend those tickers me thinks.

      (I may be wrong but i'm 90% sure)
      Its hard to explain but i'll try my best. when it says min protected it means his price won't go up even if it hits 100%. Once the prices update for that day his % will be reset to 0% but won't be protected and will rise if it is above 100% at the next price update.

          It goes by the players with the highest PPI anyway.

          Not much to do with the ICT index which is just a guestimate to be honest.

      no..this index is based on influence, creativity and threat. the bonus is based on a pts system devised by EA sports where the player with the most shots off target, irrespective of talent or goals scored gets the lowest pts. EA sports PPI is the bonus guide not the ICT.

        His crossing is top notch. He is quality, contemplated captaining him myself.

        I also had Cahill who looked a threat.

        The only comfort is that we can't look at it from a results based perspective, it was solid decision making and from the look of the highlights, Everton dominated. Very unfortunate not to score and/or win.

    This new bonus points system is a bit silly - it doesn't seem to bear much relation to how well players are playing. The worst part is that shots off target reduce the index. Surely if a player is getting shots on goal then that is a good thing not a bad thing - shows they are creating a threat, even if it is off target? I think that they should get points added not taken away, although not as many points as a shot ON target obviously.

    An example is Moses last week played brilliantly but because he had shots off target the index stats showed him to be one of the worst players in the game.

    A player who plays poorly but ends up scoring the winner off his backside will probably get BP's now.

    Players who tend to score but do little else will be the main beneficiaries of this new system, like Bent, Hernandez, etc.

    Just my views. preferred the old system for all its flaws.

        System sucks. A player can be the best player on the pitch by a mile, dribble the length of the pitch 2 or three times and let down by team mates and by just missing, then as you say some numpty scores of his knee/arse/shoulder, and gets Bps

        id even prefer the old system that awared 2 Bps to Tim Howard for no saves in a 1-1 draw!!
