The Members Area has had its final stats update following the 90 minutes at Stamford Bridge. Those digesting the data from today’s earlier kick-offs can now drown in all the stats, including updated ICT Index scores for the Gameweek so far.

Members should click on the “Latest Gameweek” tab on the dashboard to view this week’s top 10’s and use the Gameweek filter dropdown to select “Current Gameweek” when viewing the stats tables. ICT Index scores are available via the Fantasy Index tab in the Player tables.

Just as we did for Gameweek one, Members can read on for our take of the performances of note to this point…

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Please help me out! I have done some copying and pasting 😉 trying to get some info on the Bonus system. I selected the Fulham-Aston Villa match from last week.
    result: 0-0, Bonus: Johnson A 3, Zamora 2, Agbonlahor 1.
So three forwards picking up bonus in a 0-0 game.
I have highlighted the player with the highest, second and third best score with Red,Blue and Green Boxes. This is not hard rock facts....
But can someone explain why Johnson got the 3 bp just by looking at the numbers!?

    The gameweek started so well....
Suarez scored, Bent got in the points, my choices not to pick Cahill, Sess and Downing looked good...
And then Torres....1 measely point doubled to the enormous tally of 2 as my captain!

Surely worth keeping him with Villas fixtures and to save a transfer?

    rules for my team that's why i haven't flopped as much as others;

never put a chelsea striker captain unless one is injured.
never double up in defence , one goal in & you'll be screwing.
nevr have a defender as captain , one goal in & you'll be screwing even more.
have coverage from as many top teams as possible but have a decent bench well enough to compete for positions in your starting 11.

i got 22 today with about 4 left and nani captain.

I don't know why people are complaining so much about the amount of points on their bench, especially with regards to QPR and Newcastle defenders.

It would be poor management to back QPR to get a clean sheet away at everton, especially after the footballing lesson given by Bolton last week. Moreover picking a clean sheet in the Tyneside derby is usually unwise as well, and putting a defender in is risky anyway, given the heated nature of the match.

It would have taken major cahones to put a punt on those two getting cleanies over teams like villa and chelsea. Given all this though, i guess we can only draw from cliche... after all he who dares wins.

+1, after a week of free transfers, playing average defenders away from home would have been just silly. Later in the season you won't have a choice when injuries occur & hits aren't worth it in defence.

Exactly, the unpredictable nature of the first two gameweeks will definitely lead a few managers to plenty of kneejerks, and no doubt it will lead to newcastle players being played for tricky fixtures which is bound to bite when Newcastles frankly average team is exposed. It's the sort of thinking that is leading to people dropping torres to Aguero before Aguero has even played.

Not too unhappy with the midfield really , they not scoring points but then who is, but they playing reasonably well

Besides nobody standing up to be picked at present in midfield. Daresay at somepoint will be looking at van der vaart and possibly an arsenal , but the time dosent seem right .
Also have rooney so man u mid not so essential. Malouda would of been useful , was in my week one team but flicked him

Torres had to go , he will drop in price this week for sure, im not taking a financial loss on him too

One thing that I have to remember about using this site is how easy it is to be swayed. If enough people say something you start to believe it. Case in point: Had Malouda and Bent but all the talk was Malouda was shite last week and Torres was a must have (C) so swapped out for him and NZog.

Read the analysis, listen to the players but go with the gut. I've been playing this game long enough and I watch plenty of games so I should back myself!!

And Torres was not a must have, but he was the most impressive Chelsea attacking player last week and wasnt too bad yesterday as well.

So you should be happy with having Nzog in your team shouldnt you? He is quality and should deliver in the long run.

As for Malouda, those who advised against getting him were not totally wrong. After all he did start from the bench.

Before the start of the GW,had you known Torres would start and Malouda wont, you would have made the same decision you eventually made.

We can make decisions only based on what we have seen thus far,and based on that Torres over Malouda was not a wrong decision. Nzog over Bent was.

Showing potential and delivering are two different things. And yes, I make decisions based on the medium term so NZog will stay for now. Did those that advised against getting Malouda know that he was going to be on the bench? I don't think so. I wanted Chelsea and Villa cover so I'm happy to leave Torres and NZogg in for now.

They knew he was shit last week.[so was Kalou, cant understand why Kalou started ahead of him]

They knew AVB has options, hence he was a risk.

              They werent wrong.

There are no certs in this game but there are facts. So to paraphrase Rafa:

Bent has delivered for Villa in the past - fact.
Malouda has delivered for Chelsea in the past - fact.
NZog has delivered for his new club - no.
Torres has delivered for his new club - no.

People on here advised against getting Nzog.
                    Most did.

You went on and got him nonetheless. You went with your instincts, nothing wrong there.

The problem is you went with your gut on 1 and went with the herd on the other.Neither worked out,and you come here moaning about how you should always go with your Gut.

You did and didnt work out. Are we getting through to you Sir? C'mon help me to help you.

Looks like there are a few more night owls in here so ill repost what i wrote in the other thread....

Its prob been mentioned but so hard to keep up with the comments in here but wtf is going on with Torres’ minutes. He was subbed in the 60th, not the 58th! So for us who had him captain, we missed out on 3 points. Picking at straws here, but man those 3 measly points will help us out over another dismal week!

If he was subbed at 59:xx counts as 60 minutes and he should have got 2 appearance points.

Not entirely certain when he was subbed though.

Have seen it numerous times over the last few seasons, player appearing for 59 odd minutes counts as 60 minutes and gets 2 appearance points.

Not sure if EA have changed that now.

Not in FPL you haven't. I was caught by this, at least twice, by Kolarov himself.

You don't forget that kinda hurt.

You must be subbed out in the 61st minute :60:01+) or later for the full game.

Fair enuff Mr Cantona - they must be very inconsistent with this as i know its happened in the past - happened to also last year with Micah Richards!

Yeah, no offense sanchez ... not trying to come off as dismissive towards you.

Perhaps the discrepancy is as Gaz jokes at ... meaning, how exactly they time the actual sub. Perhaps two players, subbed "at the same time", say 59:50 ... but depending on how the time is arrived at, results in two different 'official sub times'

Just wait until the dodgy assists start ... 🙂

No, obviously it doesn't count as 60 - nor should it - as it is not 60 minutes played. That would be at 60:00.

He would have been subbed *in the 60 minute"

Argh bullsh1t lol - he was subbed in late in the 59th minute which always rounds up to the next minute, so its the 60th. All the sites have him coming off in the 60th, not 58th like they have on here!

It doesn't round up, at all. 'Round up'?

It's said " ... in the 60th minute" which it is, *in* the minute. You need 60 (full) minutes played for 2 points.

He didn't play a full 60, se he received 1 point.

Playing 58, 59, or *into* the 60th minute (say, 59:30) means the player has played less than a 'full game' (60 minutes).

*This* exact thing has driven me crazy over the past few years ... when a clean sheet is lost to a '60th minute' substitution, it can really squash the spirit a little.

          So, I've been there.

Any thoughts/predictions on the City or United games tomorrow?

Off the top o' me head ... I'd say City 2-1 over Bolton, United 3-1 over Tot.

Rooney & Aguero (boring shocker) to be in the points.
