      Don't sell Terry he is due another goal and fixtures (disregarding the blank) are excellent.
      Get Costa.

    this is annoying me a but so edited repost from bottom of last page;

    i'm going to go against what everyone seems to be thinking here, and not trolling.

    don't think barnes has done that on purpose vs matic. he's passed the ball and followed on a wee bit. there is zero power behind that. it's patently not a "leg breaker" as evidenced by matic jumping up straight away after his little roll around.

    barnes has his other leg planted on the ground and he's stretched a little - there is very little force going into matic from there - not remotely dangerous.

      when you follow on in challenges like that you can break a leg

      its not just a question of force

      1. the axolotl
        • 14 Years
        10 years, 11 months ago

        don't agree. he's like at the end of his stretch there. there is no momentum = no force = no danger whatsoever. if he "could have broken his leg" then, well, why did he not break his leg? why was matic totally uninjured by this "assault"?

      Like I said 2 pages back, get someone to do that to your standing leg with studs on then tell us how soft a challenge it is.

        like i say above there's no (or not much) force. you're just equating "contact" with "injury". he's got shinpads also. he was never getting injured there

          So he didn't break his leg therefore the challenge is perfectly acceptable.

          Blatant trolling.

            trolling lol:-) because i don't agree with you.

            what i'm saying, as illustrated by what i've said, is that there was nowhere near the force required to break a leg.

            i've had my own leg broken and i've broken a leg, and i understand that a considerable force is required, not some guy reaching out with a shin-tap

                  If you can't see what's wrong with that challenge then there's no point arguing with you is there.

                    if the 1st leg isn't planted, giving the 2nd leg momentum, then there is virtually no force in the 2nd leg. watch it again. i'm completely correct, sorry

      It's a side foot pass not a tackle. Barnes has no control over where Matic puts his own leg, in this case in front of his forward movement.

      To be fair, I don't wholly disagree-when I first saw the MoTD highlights I didn't realise at first that was the 'incident'. I don't believe he did anything intentionally but it ended up looking horrific and the way he walked away wasn't great.

      Unfortunately for Matic, you cannot react like that.

    Which road to take?

    Road 1:

    Wisdom>Dawson
    Azpilicueta>Alderweireld (or Bertrand if he isn't back)

    Next week:

    Oscar>Eriksen
    Defoe>Austin [-4]

    [2.5M ITB]

    Road 2:

    Oscar>Sterling
    Azpilicueta>Dawson

    Next week:

    Wisdom>Ivanovic
    Defoe>Austin [-4]

    [0.1M ITB]

      I would prefer the first path with bertrand of course- although you get rid of chelsea defender. Nonetheless Chelsea defence will be in rotating process untill they play in CL. Nobody is gauranteed imo.

      I have similar hasitation:)

      1. terry -> bertrand or alderweireld

      next week

      cazorla -> eriksen
      ings -> austin
      trippier -> rose (-4)

      2. terry -> dawson

      next week

      cazorla -> eriksen
      ings -> costa
      jones -> alderwidreld (-4)

    Foster
    pva, naughton, kosielcny, baird
    Silva, ADM, Cazorla, (vc)walters
    (c) Aguero

    long bench Kane, costa, vlaar, hazard.

    pva and baird likely not to feature.

    1FT what should I do??? 8 players likely only to play next week.

    A) out costa and vlaar for haidara and sturridge.

    B) save and play with 8 players and bring eriksen and toby for adm and baird next week.
