Alexis Sanchez’s injury has opened up a wealth of options in midfield. Liverpool’s Philippe Coutinho and Roberto Firmino are amongst key contenders to replace him, according to our discussion on the Merseysiders’ good attacking form and kind fixture run. While Aaron Ramsey is another vying for attention, according to Andy85wsm’s look at how Arsenal, which have also been hit by an injury to Santi Cazorla, may line up this weekend.
To further complicate matters Daniel Sturridge also made a case for investment in attack following his brace in Liverpool’s midweek Capital One Cup rout of Southampton, which Zasa detailed after the final whistle.
Among the more risky replacements for Sanchez is Eden Hazard, who has mustered just one goal this season. The Red Devil is amongst those in the community to consider him a risk too far. However, Mark II’s latest look at Bournemouth’s lacklustre defence may give the Belgian international’s suitors cause for optimism.

This week saw a cavalcade of congratulations as Mark celebrated his birthday and so too did Wakey’s son, who turned 18. When you read Wakey’s post on his son’s early medical history you’ll see just why this was such a special birthday for him.
MarkFLR also has reason to be cheerful. He has followed Wild Rover’s lead to become our community’s second monthly winner in Ultimate Fantasy Premier League this season. He pockets £1,000 as the monthly strategy in UFPL picks up pace.
Our resident romance experts can also give themselves a pat on the back. Their advice to YMA in response to his plea for advice on a first date attracted more than 100 responses back in September. This week YMA informed us that, thanks in some small part to the community’s wise words, he is still with the same lucky lady, and what’s more is moving in with her in the New Year.
With such a diverse range of issues discussed each week there is arguably no other community like Fantasy Football Scout’s. Jarvish’s popular post revealed how much of an impact the community has on our lives when our regular phrases start to creep into the wider world outside of Fantasy Football.
