After a frenetic Deadline Day Tuesday that saw an abundance of big-name moves, such as Nikica Jelavic to Everton (massive), the Dugout Discussion returns to complete Gameweek 23. We’ve got five more Premier League fixtures to pour over tonight, but with most of the big-hitters on show yesterday, fantasy points may be a little thin on the ground.

We start at Villa Park with a slightly earlier kick-off, where Alex McCleish’s side play host Mark Hughes’ Queens Park Rangers. The other four games get under way on the hour, including the televised game at the Stadium of Light between Sunderland and Norwich City (definitely worth watching ahead of Valencia Vs. Barcelona).

There’s also Blackburn Rovers versus Newcastle United, Arsenal travel to the Reebok Stadium to face Bolton Wanderers, and a Bobby Zamora-less Fulham welcome the visit of Roy Hodgson’s West Bromich Albion.

    for eg.. most ppl have the generic midfield 5 and 3 undroppable forwards.. leads to one person bein benched every week(prob Sess) who has the potential to score.. rather bench mclean and use the cash to get a luxury buy in defense for eg(Vermaelen)

  yeah if he's freeing up value elsewhere then he's about on par with sess. BUT, this year most of the expensive players really aren't worth their value. like, having a lot of value in your team isn't as beneficial as other years at all imo.

I'm happy that my ranking is getting better but i could be so much better if i had better captain choices. (I captained suarez when rooney got his 2 hattricks at start, i went with rooney last week, dempsey vice, This week Rvp captain bale vice. Thats 58 points and thats only 1/3 of my choices)

      dempsey as crazy as that sounds. But that team is strong for this week, so can afford to wait to see you ba, cisse (both of them) and zamora settle in.

        pretty much, and it's decent rotation, could go Krul instead and double up on Newc defence. Caulker was Clark last night but I swapped them this morning. Aguero stays, as does Taiwo, QPR will improve defensively and Taiwo will get attacking points.
