Time for a taste of some real money? Tired of nipping away at the heels of the big odds with that cheeky quid or two? Well this week on the Flutter with Paddy Power, we’ve organised something to get your teeth into, and we’re confident enough to double up on it.

It’s been bandied around for weeks now that the Premier League title is there for Manchester City to lose. The winning mentality that kept Man United garnished with silverware has slipped to their neighbours in blue, as has the talent of picking up points on an off-day. City have seemingly shrugged off the winter blues and have looked irresistible in their last three and in Fantasy terms, we’re lapping it up.

Talent spills off the pitch and onto the bench at the Etihad, but a trio of world class players are the key to their successes. At the back, skipper Vincent Kompany has marshalled his defensive line with a steely confidence, with 12 clean-sheets a clear testament to this. In the middle of the park, David Silva has been a creative inspiration to his fellow team-mates. Always available for a pass and on the look out for cutting runs and attacking movement, Silva has bagged 14 assists and more than a couple of goals himself. Benefiting from Silva’s abundance of flair, Sergio Aguero has instantly established himself as a Premier League force with 16 goals and counting.

You don’t need me to tell you all this, as bar a few differentials, you all have a sky blue seam running through you Fantasy squad. And if you don’t, you’re probably regretting it right now, as Bolton make their way to the Etihad this weekend.

Now to the bet. Paddy are offering 4/1 for Man city to win with a cleanie, Aguero to score and Silva to get an assist.

Let’s break the bet down a little. Aguero has scored five goals in his last five league games – failing to score in just one of those five. Silva has notched FPL assists in three of his last four matches at the Etihad and has five assists in his last seven games. In terms of clean sheets meanwhile, City have kept shut-outs in five of their last six home matches – only failing to keep a clean sheet at home to Spurs. Those components align nicely with the Trotters paying visit.

Paddy’s special accumulator would be hard to beat picking up odds from multiple companies, and especially tough trying to find anyone offering an assist market. Nonetheless, I’d price this up at somewhere between 13/5 and 11/4 just going off the accumulated odds. That’s a decent point over, and therefore a bet worth taking. With change from Augero’s goal and win double last week, we’re breaking the bank and putting up £20 on this one and readying our wallet for the shape of a ton in crisp notes.

Elsewhere amongst Paddy’s specials this week, the Peter Odemwingie bet also looks tempting. The Nigerian and his Baggies team-mates are flying and with 7/1 on an Odemwingie goal and a West Brom win over Chelsea on offer, this also looks worth a punt with five goals in two games in his locker.

There’s odds 7/2 on Yakubu scoring and Blackburn earning a much-needed three points against Villa, with 9/1 offered on two or more goals for the striker in the match.
Finally, Clint Dempsey is without a goal in three but Paddy are offering 5/2 on the American replicating his heroics with his national side in midweek and scoring in a Fulham win over Wolves.

Money Back Specials

Paddy Power yet again have some nice Money-Back Specials which mean that even if your bets a loser, you can still end up getting your cash back. Starting at Anfield, Paddy are willing to refund all losing first/last goalscorer, correct score and scorecast singles on the match between Liverpool and Arsenal if a penalty is scored in the game.

The same applies to the Spurs vs Man United clash on Sunday. If a spot-kick is scored in that game, Paddy will refund all losing first/last goalscorer, correct score and scorecast singles on the match.

Register and Bet £10 And Get £20 Free

If you’re new to this betting lark and new to Paddy Power then you can take up any of these odds and offers and get yourself a bonus. You can sign up via this site and get a free £20 when you register an account and bet a tenner.

Finally of course, we should state that all these offers are only available to those aged 18 and over and are subject to Paddy Power’s terms and conditions. Also, if you’re going to bet, always gamble responsibly.

Tempe, AZ. Early games even more brutal during the start of the season before the Daylight Savings Time shift. Then we are on Pacific equivalent and it's 4:45 start for the ESPN game. Not Irish, English, or Scottish here, born in Nebraska and have been in southwest 18 of last 21 years.

I'm at work, finishing at 7. Might get to see some ot it here or the end if I'm home on time on ESPN2. Use streampro.tv to watch games but the streaming has been choppy enough lately. I only know the name Tempe, not sure where it is in AZ. I hear Phoenix is like an oven for 3 months ot the summer, day and night? Was in Flagstaff but no further so far. Was in the Petrified Forest too, not very interesting! Everton are doing well of late. Pool are crap, Gerrard is finished.

Tempe is part of Phoenix area. It's where Arizona State University is located. Yup, you gotta like it hot to live here. Hit 122 back in 1990, about two weeks after I moved here. WTF? Seriously reconsidered, but then by time November rolled around, I understood. Flagstaff is great though.

Arsene needs RVP to help for this win over Liverpool to get back into CL next year. The match vs Milan is a formality. Dead rubber. Even RVP isn't going to pull that one back.

He isnt, but its a good excuse to drop him. Lets not forget this is mr glass we are talking about and if Wenger pushes him and he gets injured, it will seal Arsenals fate for the remainder of the season. At the end of the day, they will still remain in 4th. 4th place will come down to gw 35 against Chelsea.

I sold him too when he first got injured. Not sure if I'll get him back though, I may just go to Rooney now from next week on.

However, if I still had him I'd keep him. I've kept Cissé through the last fortnight even though he was red carded and losing money. Figure I've kept him this long I may as well stick with him now.

So, I reckon Valencia owners who still have him ought to just do the same as he'll be back next week in all likelihood. You've probably lost enough money on him that its no point selling him now anyway. I've lost £0.4m on Gerbil but hopefully next week when he's up against Bolton's defence.......!

Do you need to replace him this week though? It looks like Bale will play so you can field 11.

If you leave your team as it is this week then have 2 FT's next week, you can do Aguero to Rooney and downgrade Valencia to around £6m mid, I think.

Genuinely don't think you need to sell him this gw.

Team is having injury clouds over its head left, right and centre.

    Currently it is:

    Krul (Vorm)
    Kompany, Simpson, Taiwo (Vermaelan, Enrique)
    Silva, Bale, Mclean, Moses (Valencia)
    Aguero, Ba, RVP

I have 2 trades. So obviously Valencia has to go, and if i cull vermaelan i can bring in dempsey and someone like J Evans or someone else?
    Any other thoughts?

    Thanks a lot boys

yeah im always doing the wrong thing in this situation, if i bring someone in for a hit, either the guy i drop magically winds up playing, or the guy i could have used off my bench, dyer in this case, winds up with double digits on my bench and the guy i bring in does zilch. Sigh......

    Thoughts on:
    Sess > Giggs ??
With Good fixtures coming up..and giggs' last week heroic winner i think has done enough to earn him a starting place for the next 3-4 games..

    what do you all reckon?

      I wouldn't do it.

He will start today but after that expect Ferguson to rotate him every alternate game.

Giggs has played a full 90 minutes in the last 3 weeks.

      I would not do it.

Also, Giggs does not need to 'earn' a starting place.

    Richards, Kelly, Santon,
    Silva, Bale, Dempsey, McClean,
    RVP, Ba, Aguero.

Vorm, Caulker, Williamson, Valencia. (2 free transfers, 0.6 in bank)

    A) Williamson -> Shotton, which leaves me with exact cash to do Richards -> Skrtel, Aguero -> Rooney next week.

    OR

    B) Williamson -> Evans, which would mean a 4 pt. hit next week to get those two?

May be Pienaar now. Fellaini is playing more forward on the field of late than he had been in first half of the season, but his threat mainly comes as aerial target on set pieces.

I know. Just commenting on the player. Not the DGW schedule. Over the remainder of the season, I'd take Pienaar to put up more points than Fellaini. At this point in season (and especially if already played WC), I would try not to bring somebody in unless I felt comfortable keeping them for remainder of season. Too many other urgent needs occur with injuries and suspensions at this time of year.

My league leader is 38pts ahead of me and he has Aguero, Demps, Silva.

What are my main differentials? I have Mata, Yaya, and think im picking up Rooney.

im nervous for mata though, and demps + city fixtures are kinda making me think I shouldn't quite be looking for differential quite yet.

Mr.Natas is of the opinion that RVP will be rested to be fit for the Milan game.
No matter how egoistic and stubborn Wenger is but I think he has required brains to understand that the return leg vs Milan is no more than a formality. So throw that reason out of the window.

Like I said, it is only an excuse nowhere near the truth, but its just a reason. The true reason he wont play him is because he is Injury prone - and this season can easily end up like all the others if he doesnt heed warning when these niggles come up. Wenger cant afford to lose RVP for the final run-in.

but then why would he choose to rest RVP against liverpool,a possible 4th place decider.
          Pick up any other match.
          I cant comprehend this logic.
But surely I would more than love it if rvp comes of the bench to score that solitary unity,my rivals have a nag of captaining him everytime.

Because he has a groin problem now, he picked it up vs tottenham and aggravated against england. If he pushes him now, he can lose him for 6 weeks and then say bye bye to rest of season and the coveted 4th place finish. Even if Liverpool win this game and game in hand they will still be behind Arsenal. If RVP is on bench and they go down, he can assess the situation at that point. Otherwise the rest of the team had a great game. He has Chamak on Bench and could possibly give park a go. Why risk the rest of his season against a liverpool side that cant score, will be missing Gerrard and Agger? He can play Walcott through the middle to expose Carra. No need to risk his season from the outset of this game.

those who believe sess wont start- do you think he will even make the bench? Is this a situation where he starts or doesnt play so go ahead and put him in the XI, or could he be used as an impact sub late on and would be better served giving up on him now and starting santon or dyer? I hate starting attackers against my defenders, and this week i just brought in al-habsi, though i suppose save points is more realistic anyway.

Sess or Dyer to start in my XI?
