              A clue is looking at his scores in two week blocks and seeing what is the highest he has achieved all season over two weeks....that is probably the best you can hope for and that's still ok.

              The only trouble is that Rooney has achieved at least that total in a single gameweek twice already. RVP has achieved it three times.

              When it comes to captaincy they are potent stats.

    Is Mignolet & Bogdan too budget for GKs to the end of the season? Rotation’s not bad for 8.6m combined, and the extra funds come in handy (as always)…

    BTW if Lord Trumpington is around I wanted to apologise for dismissing your rate my team last night. Your 'look at my high score' comments was the 100th 'look at my high score comment' that broke my 'I've had a poor score' Camel's back. You unfairly took my flack, apologies, and genuine congratulations on your score.

      Ways of improving the FFS comments pages:

      1. Anyone who gloats about their points on Sunday evening should be required to post their score at the same time next week in exactly the same tone of voice - i.e. "I've got 18 points from 8 players. Is that good?"

    Repost:

    Some advice please.

    Going to do the following:

    Richards -> Skrtel
    Aguero -> Suarez

    Am thinking about taking a 4 point hit and getting rid of Ba instead:

    Richards -> Skrtel
    Ba -> Suarez
    Sess -> Pilkington

    I’m not a fan of taking hits (that’s what bit me earlier on in the season – yes, I’m a n00b), but will do if it’s worth it!

    Vorm – Ruddy
    Kelly S – Enrique – Richards – Caulker – Santon
    Sessegnon – Valencia – Dempsey – Bale – McClean
    Ba – Van Persie – Aguero

          Good fixtures, potential to score a few especially given Bolton's 4-5-1 formation, with Ngog purely a hold up man for the wingers (which Eagles, Petrov, Klasnic have benefited from at times this year).

    Krul Senderos Kaboul Mclean (0.7 in the bank)

    How confident would you be in playing Mingolet this week?
    Tempted by getting Reina in for Krul. Liverpool usually struggle to score but without Cattermole Sunderland may be more vunerable than usual.

      Hadn't even considered this! Sess and Catermole are vital to Sunderland and they'll sorely miss them. Enhances Liverpool's DGW credentials even more so, yes, all aboard!

      I would normally say always captain a DGW player but surely an on form RVP against a Newcastle that conceded 5 goals against Fulham and Spurs so far this season, is a better pick?

      A very popular question. Surman if you need to raise money. You can also consider McClean, Pilkington and Miyaichi. I think Bolton rotate well with Swansea.

    So, sticking with the Pog now as the one week punt worked out rather well, so now can't get Bellamy. Two transfers, got Enrique, only players I can trade for DGW really is Sess or Reo-Coker? But got Sess at 6.6, if I sell may not be able to get back?

    Options with 1.2m in bank

    1. Kelly+Sess > Baines+4.3m bench mid

    2. Sess>8.2m DGW mid but might struggle getting Sess back. Will he drop the 0.4m to cover it?

    3. Reo-Coker>5.6m DGW mid (Drenthe!! NO!!! 🙂 ) and leave Sess benched for 3 weeks. Have two other bench starters (Kelly, Simpson, Naylor)

    Leaning towards option 3...

    Is Kompany > Enrique madness considering I might be able to buy Kompany back. Liverpool have a good run of fixtures coming up and the money I'm saving is going to be used for Aguero > Rooney.

    REPOST!!!

    Help needed

    Vorm,Migs

    Evans, Cahill, BAE, Enrique, Simpson

    McClean, Bale, Silva, Demps, Pilkington

    RVP, Ba, Aguero

    Thinking of Aguero > Rooney, Ba > Suarez but leaves me with -1.6

    any thoughts to fund this or something else?

    Never again shall I be tempted by the mass hysteria surrounding a player.

    Aguero.

    Apart from the first 6 weeks of the season, when he scored almost 40% of his total points so far in FPL, he has been largely ineffetive. Take away the 3 big scores in GW 12, 17 and 24, and the rest is mostly a series of 2's.

    I didnt have Aguero all season until gw22, as I never thought he offered enough consistency for the price tag.

    I brought him in 6 weeks ago, because everyone was saying City's fixtures were great and he would score big. I captained him twice, once he got 2 and the next he didnt play.

    Thankfully, I didnt ship RVP out for him, which a lot of people did, considering Arsenal's fixtures.

    I shall sell him today for Rooney, and never again will his short ass grace my team-sheet, regardless of fixtures or band wagon hysteria.

    (By the way, the same goes for Nani)

    Rant Over.

    Morning chaps, how are we after the weekends comedy scoring?

    I'm looking at doing the following this week (4pt hit):
    Taiwo > Enrique
    Aguero > Rooney
    funded by
    Sessegnon > Andrews (only have 5m budget left)

    I'd be playing Andrews most weeks. Is this madness? It seems stupid, but he's had 8 shots in the last 2 weeks and Brom looked awesome.

    Also does anyone see any value in taking a ManU winger (Silva out) over Rooney (Aguero out)?

    Team is linked, if anyone can see anything cunning that I've missed I've love to hear about it.

      My reservation about Andrews as that Brunt is now back, I'm not clued up enough on WBA to know how they're likely to rejig to fit him back in, but I'd be tempted to hold off until it becomes clearer. There might be a piece on iyaichi coming out this week. The only Utd winger I think is worth the dosh is Valencia, and he isn't back for at least a week so that at least defers that decision for me.
