I am well and truly sorry for this REPOST 😉

Hi guys! Back from my football exercise!
This is of course just an early setup, and injuries, form and ” must have ” players could arrive.

GW 31: Drogba and Skrtel > Cisse and Verm for a 4 pt hit ( already done)
GW 32:Clint Dempsey > Gareth Bale
    GW 33:Save
GW 34:Andrew Surman > James McClean
GW 35:Gareth McAuley > Tim Ream
GW 36: Thomas Vermaelen >John Terry and Walcott> Frank Lampard, possibly Rooney>Ade for a 4 pt hit. This is IF Spurs find back their attacking form.

Will give me this team for GW 36:

    Mignolet(BOL)
    Caulker(WOL)-BAE(BLA,bol)-Terry(QPR,NEW)
    Bale(BLA,bol)-Lampard(QPR,NEW)-Siggy(WOL)-McClean(BOL)
    Adebayor*(BLA,bol)-RVP(sto)-Cisse(wig,che)

    * Could be Rooney, as said will see on Spurs form.

    Any opinions, looking good? 🙂

EUROPA League Preview - Final Group Matches

    Group C preview

There is still everything to play for in this group with every side still in with a chance of qualifying. So, let's start by looking at what needs to happen for each team to qualify

1st - Legia Warsaw (Happy Ankit) - The maths for Legia is simple avoid defeat and qualify antything else and they rely on results elsewhere, but with 1 win and loss v every team in the group and a poor GD in relation to Dinamo defeat could well mean elimination for Legia

2nd - Hapoel Tel-Aviv (Billy Ketsu) - Similar to Legia, a draw or a win sends them thorugh, anything else sends them out, unless they can avoid defeat top Legia by more than 2 points.

3rd - Dinamo - (Menly) - Known for his unusaul entrances, his superior GD gives him the advantage over Funkav, but nothing less than a win will be enough for Dinamo despite boasting easily the best GD in the group

4th - PSV (Funlkyav) - The early favourite needs a minor miracle to advance he must beat Menly by something approaching 50 points having both won and lost vs both Legia and Hapoel.

Hapeol Tel-Aviv v Legia - The battle for group supremacy, winner take all. All the cliches apply here. The top 2 go head to head. I am unable to see Billy Ketu's transfers on his profile, though looking at his team I anticipate nothing changing. The same can be said of Happy Ankit, though I anticipate that Silva has become Valencia.

    Predicted Line-Ups

Hapoel - Bogdan, Sagna, Evans, Skrtel, Walcott, Bale, Valencia, Gerrard, RvP, Rooney, Pog

Legia - Krul, Skrtel, Evans, Kelly, Raylor, Valencia, Bale, Dempsey, RvP, Rooney, Suarez

Key Battle - This tie centers on Fulham and Liverpool with Gerrard and Pog vs Dempsey and Suarez set to decide the result

Prediction - Narrow away win, with Hapoel relying on a PSV victory.

PSV v Rapid Bucharest - PSV cling to extremely faint hopes of qualification, whist Rapid will be banking on a superior GD to see them through to the next round, assuming they claim the win of course
For PSV I suspect one of both of the popular Silva to Valencia or Ba to Cisse transfers have been made. I anticipate that Valencia has also arrived for Rapid, at the expense of Ashley Young

    Predicted line-ups

PSV - Krul, Evans, Skrtel, Simpson., Siggy, Mata, Valencia, Bale, RvP, Rooney, Cisse

Rapid - Krul, Verm, Evans, Kelly, Dempsey, Bale, Valencia, Ryo, RvP, Rooney, Yak

Key Battle - Dempsey v Cisse

    Verdict- Away win and qualification.

Plan was to transfer Graham out this week as I have had him and Siggy for a few weeks now and its overkill.

I wanted to bring in Yakubu for the rest of the season, but my main rival (~20 points behind me) brought him in last week.

Should I still bring him in to neuter my opponent's pick? Or look to Jelavic/someone else?

Really appreciate any thoughts! Looking for a cheapish option (3.9 -> 6.4)

        Thanks for the thought!

That's what I'm leaning towards as I don't wanna shuffle my front 3 for the remainder of the season (barring injury or suspension), and Jelavic may be on a hot flash

Whats the situation with Spurs CB's? Assume Kaboul is nailed on but is Gallas or King first choice for the other slot? King had played the last 8 before GW30, but was replaced by Gallas in Gw30. Was there any reason for this? A rest for King? Perhaps it is best to stay away and stick with a nailed on Spurs defender, although King and Gallas are quite a bit cheaper than the rest.

    1) having only 8 available players for GW34
    2) not having alot of DWGers for GW36

hard to cater for both as the teams that have doubles also have a balnk two weeks before

what is the maximum hit i can get away with between 35 and 36?

      GW35 probably won't be great.

      1) giving away 6 points minimum for playing 8.
      2) better to have more.

Thoughts on my transfer plan until GW34.

For GW31- Senderos to Kompany for a 4 point hit which is for the long term.
    For GW32- Williamson to Caulker
    For GW33- Dempsey to Walcott
For GW34- Reina to Mignolet and Moses to Sessegnon(I know Moses plays but Sess has Wolves at home and Moses has Arsenal away) 4 point hit.

It would leave my team looking like this.

    Mignolet (Sorensen)
    Kompany, Evans, Caulker (Skrtel, Kelly)
    Walcott, Siggy, Valencia, Sess (Bale)
RVP, Rooney, Jelavic(Not sure if his game has been rescheduled or not)

      Thoughts on mine

GW32 - Schwarzer to De Gea

      G33 - Save transfer

      GW34 - Dempsey - Sess

GW35 Sess and Santon to Ryo and Kaboul

GW36 - Yak to Ade and Vem to Cashley

GW37 - Cashley to Verm and maybe Skrtel to Huth

I'm getting Caulker and Walcott in for Kelly and Dempsey, so pretty much the same there. I think I'm going to dump Enrique for probably Sagna as well. So I'm on the same wavelength, I really like the Sess move, he's become sort of an elite differential at this point but I don't know how to fit him in.
