With the rest of the footballing world tuning in to the occasion at the Nou Camp tonight, the Dugout Discussion opens with it’s eyes firmly fixed on the remaining fixture from double Gameweek 35. It’s not glamorous, it’s Aston Villa versus Bolton Wanderers in a relegation scrap. The team news is in…

Villa XI: Given, Hutton, Cuellar, Baker, Lichaj, Albrighton, Herd, Warnock, N’Zogbia, Heskey, Weimann.

Bolton XI: Bogdan, Steinsson, Wheater, Ream, Ricketts, Ryo, Reo-Coker, M Davies, Petrov, Eagles, Ngog.

Gabriel Agbonlahor misses out due to injury for Alex McCleish’s side, whilst David Ngog is recalled in place of Kevin Davies for the struggling visitors.

The Dugout Discussion is open and can be accessed right here, with Champions League chat still permitted.

10 men in the box to block Barca. You might say it wasn't deserved but if Barcelona can't take advantage of a ten man team and 73% possession then I don't think they can complain about bad luck.

    well done chelsea

barcelona supposedly the best team in the world got tactically owned. They couldn't break chelsea down. A chelsea with 10 men and their captain sent off. A team with no cb's, a team with bosingwa in central defence.

Surely Ronaldo is overtaking/overtaken messi if he gets madrid to the final.

No. I agree, Barcelona were poor and have been for the past few weeks and Messi has not been great either. He's still a much more gifted, exciting and passionate player than Christiano Ronaldo. If you even look at the stats, Barcelona need Messi a lot more than Madrid need Ronaldo.

Agree. If you take away the goals and assists for both Ronaldo and Messi this season, then Real Madrid would still be first in La Liga, while Barca would be sixth! It's a crazy stat.

I think Villa deserve to go down. They have been proper shite this season. I blame McCleish

Every season 1 team drops in late to the zone. Is it Villa this year??

+1, especially on the Villa comment. Worse than wolves i reckon

Seem to be getting what they deserve for appointing McLeish, his teams cannot pass the ball

I've nothing against/for Bolton but I'm delighted to see Villa getting dragged into it.

Would be beautiful if QPR, Villa and Wolves got the drop. (sorry Epic 🙂 )
