Settle down, we’ve no less than three Premier League encounters to take us into Antiques Roadshow, with Fantasy points hopefully continuing to flow following yesterday’s drama. We’ve opened our Dugout Discussion chatroom to capture the real-time chatter, just in time for our first kick-off at Anfield, as Liverpool face the Gunners. Full line-ups here are…

Liverpool XI: Reina, Johnson, Skrtel, Agger, Enrique, Allen, Sahin, Gerrard, Sterling, Borini, Suarez.
Substitutes: Jones, Carragher, Shelvey, Downing, Henderson, Kelly, Coates.

Arsenal XI: Mannone, Jenkinson, Mertesacker, Vermaelen, Gibbs, Cazorla, Arteta, Diaby, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Giroud, Podolski.
Substitutes: Koscielny, Martinez, Santos, Ramsey, Coquelin, Gervinho, Walcott.

Later today, we’re treated to Newcastle vs Villa and Southampton vs United at St Mary’s. With Carlos Tevez delivering on his captaincy promised yesterday, all eyes will now be on Robin Van Persie as he takes on the Saints as United’s chief goal threat in the absence of the injured Wayne Rooney.

Enjoy today’s games, we’ll see you on the other side with the Stock Check…

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Diaby was very good a few years ago, before injuries kicked in. I think it was 2007/8, when he could be deadly going with power into penalty area.

Gerrard, the weak link in Liverpools team!

Not a pass and move player, constantly gives the ball away. Hes always been about the long ball or the final through pass to a striker running off the last defender aka torres at his peak. Does not fit into this system at all.

Liverpool also have a terrible bench, plan B is now at West Ham and plan A isnt working!

Any other Yaya owners considering booting him if playing WC? (let me explain)

If Aguero makes his return after the international break, you'd think Yaya wouldn't play so far forward. I don't think Citeh can afford to be so careless with their defending all season and I wouldn't be surprised to see Yaya sit further back.

    Thoughts? Its just a consideration.

i think the solution to their defensive woes is simply to hold back on pushing forward the fullbacks. They look better when yaya toure does surge forward...so i think he's a good bet if you've got him. Having said that i don't have him in my team.

It would be interesting to see what Theo could do up top. I like Podolski out wide more than up top. Theo can't cross the ball and Gervinho is still there for a sub if Arsenal need a winger. Likely won't happen, but I'd be intrigued if it did.

The entire team can't cross the ball a lick. I've never understood the desire for a target player up top. Arsenal need a David Silva type of attacker. One that continually tries to get behind defenses via the thru ball.

          Ironically, Suarez would be perfect.

Diaby has always been quality imo. Problem is, as soon as he gets into his stride he just gets injured. Far better player than arteta imo, much better athlete, great on the ball, can attack and defend. Real box to box mid.

Arteta is a better distributor than Diaby IMO. However, I don't like Arteta's lack of pace matched with Per's. It's a tough call. Diaby certainly adds much needed pace to the Arsenal defensive mid.

Didn't watch Ligue 1 last year, is Giroud's style more suited to lots of crosses into the box and lots of long balls played upto him or can he play the short sharp passing game and anticipate the through balls?

Bit of a problem then, Arsenal not known for their crossing game. Giroud will have to adjust or Arsenal will have to.

From what I saw on youtube he is a very good header of the ball and tends to rifle them in early with his left, maybe he just needs to settle.

I'm obviously not one, but by my reckoning a 352 is on the cards. First choice mid 3 would be Yaya, Garcia, Silva flanked by Maicon and Kolarov.

Massive mistake from Rodgers to let Carroll leave. Borini is not good enough to lead the line.

Honestly don't think Carroll would suit this team either. Think Borini was not the best of buys but could come good, think they should have aimed for someone better though. If they had managed to get Llorente that would have been an absolutely perfect signing. Cost too much for them though.

I'd like to see Coquelin stepping in at some point of the season. He has a great potential, reseambles Flamini in his final year at Arsenal. Hopefully not when it'll come to contract negotiations.
