A fortnight ago, we rolled out a Preview Movie of the latest addition to our Members Area – the Key Performance Indicators (KPI) tables. Essentially, these track the frequency of certain key statistics that can help Fantasy managers identify a player’s form – whether it be a turn for the good or worse – over a Gameweek range or season. With this in mind, our first KPI focused members article looks at Robin Van Persie’s first season at United compared to his final year leading the line for Arsenal.

By tracking Van Persie’s frequency of key stats, Fantasy managers can begin to quantify and identify the exact areas of the Dutchman’s game that have altered since his move to Old Trafford last summer as they prepare potential investment for the season ahead.

Paul Is certain he won't make the same mistakes next season. Follow them on Twitter

baker and whittaker >>> Chester and Parr

baker and whittaker aren't nailed on. Chester and Parr, although not attractive options, will get points for game time

If you are determined to go with a 4.0 gk, you would probably not want to go with davis, gazzinga, or given. casual players will probably buy these hoping they'll get playing time and will ditch them when they don't

under this assumption, their price may go down and we don't want that. unless i've got this price change thing wrong, you'd probably want to go for the least selected keepers

still think you should go for boruc though

Hey Guys, a quick little RMT, criticise thanks...

    Mignolet (Boruc)
    Cole, Coleman, Mert (Clyne/Collins)
    Hazard, Coutino, Miralles, Nolan (Thomas)
    Jrod, Giroud, Lukaku

    4.0 left in the kitty.

    reasons:
No Bale, im preparing for him to go.
No RVP, i dont see the point in sacraficing points in other positions to fit him in??

    DEF:
Cole most likely to play both DGW games. Out GW3, for a cheapy DEF to sit on the bench.
    Clyne/Collins Rotate in Cole's spot.
    Mert definite starter.

    MID:
Coutinho has had an amazing preseason. Will be LFC's best this season.
Nolan has a pretty good run of games, should score well.
    Upgrade after GW5 or GW6 to Carzola/Walcott.
Miralles has had a great preseason.
Hazard will be CFC's best this season.

    FWD:
Lukaku GW2 out for Sturridge. (no Preseason but will play and score)
Lukaku is only in for DGW, Giroud has had a great preseason.
JRod GW5 to Berbatov, he is still the go to guy @ Fulham.

plenty of points in that team.
best value for money team i can think of.

    watchlist:
if what Pellegrini says is true and If Dzeko really is the main strikefore for City playing a majority of games he could bring in a huge number of points and @ 7.5, again a super bargain

    Oscar. future star??

Lampard. how much game time will he get? @ 8.0, great value.

cheap FWD options, Gayle, Cornelius, Hooper, Anelka if JRod fails @ F3 and will they be their teams go to guy??

Lingard/Ibe great preseasons any chance of game time??

is the 4.0 for RVP? Think you could use it to upgrade mid and forwards.

doubt lingard will get much time. more of a talent for the future. same goes for adnan

i also like the prospect of dzeko, but worried about pellegrini's choices.

better value instead of oscar i think. lampard not nailed on. would wait to see if mourinho gives him an extended run

Don't like nolan pick. Other than that all good!

I think Dzeko might get a fair run for the first couple of games but he'll definitely lose out when Aguero comes fit.

      I have Cornelius atm.

Ibe could emerge as the Sterling of the season but unlikely due to competition.

If you have Mignolet, why rotate at all? I have not looked at all the combos, but Everton rotates home&away perfectly with Liverpool. I can also add that Boruc does not cover Mig's tougher fixtures too well, at least early in the season.

Yes that's one of the main reason I don't want to take Sturridge (and Dzeko) in GW 1.
The beauty is the flexibility I'll have in GW 2.

I can have Aguero + Aspas/Jrod instead if Sturridge isn't fit yet (and Aspas leading the line)
or if Dzeko is nailed on I'll have him instead of Aguero and upgrade elsewhere.

Deadzone.....i cant understand why Benteke is being left out of most squads. I know that their fixtures are poor, however, the likely worst case scenario is that you loose 2pt if you are set on taking a hit on getting him out for GW2. DGW's are essential to having a good overall rank (paid handsomely for me last year). If Villa score, he is likely to be involved. I feel that he is essential to having a great start, with very little downside!

Yes. A week 1 dgw is significantly about getting guys at the price points where they can be shipped if necessary like for like so hits are minimized and a kneejerk WC can be avoided. I am likely to go six, seven if Rooney goes to Chelsea, and have no problem taking a -8 or more to sort it out in the longterm.

Hi Guys, I just joined the site. I'm from Vancouver, its my 3rd year in the FPL. This is my first rate my team request. This team contemplates Bale leaving and is set-up for the Chelsea dgw.
    Many thanks

    Adrian,
    Terry, Coleman, Clyne,
    Coleman, Mirallas, Snodgrass, Walcott
    Lukaku, RVP, Kone

Bench Boruc, McShane, Thomas and Collins

Adrian will be a great pick if he starts. I'm not sure if McShane is nailed on. Solid team overall though.

You believe Snodgrass is set for some good returns?

RVP is a no go for GW1 for the following reasons:
      - New manager
      - If Rooney stays, this only increases his chances of being sub'd off
      - First 5 rounds are tough (Liverpool, Chelsea and City in there)
      - 14.0 is simply way too expensive. He was favourably priced in previous years, but not now.

Think Coutinho is some way down in the pecking order for my team.

Hazard > Walcott > Coutinho for the simple reason that Hazard play for a stronger team and Walcott plays in a more advanced role.

He wasn't fit when he went from Chelsea to Liverpool and made an instant impact, scoring quite a few. IMO Sturridge will be raring to go, especially with a certain Suarez suspended.

Look at Liverpool's early fixtures, you really should have one if not two Liverpool players IMO. I'm a little biased but still.

I've personally got Coutinho and Toure at the moment.

Thanks Bro, that Coleman in the mid was sposed to be Hazard.

I think more than ever Snodgrass will be a net contributor. Given the additions to that squad up front etc.
    Thanks

He's not necessarily, but has impressed his manager and is in form, and betting he'll start one of the DGW games seems to be the prevailing wisdom on here. I myself will absolutely have him, if only for the double.

Norwich brought in some guy named Olsson. Don't know anything about him. I expect Garrido to end up first choice based upon last year's performance, but maybe he loses some minutes to the new guy?

Haven't really made a decent team yet, just waiting for a few things.

    - Signings. There will be so, so many more.
    - Chelsea's defense + attack, no clue who is first choice as of yet.
    - City's preferred centre forward.
    - Bale leaving/staying. A lot will rely on him.
