Mirallas? I think the trick is to add a name of a widely owned player into a list of players carrying some sort of unsubstantiated injury, or rumoured to. By association, people then think that their player must be injured and a new rumour starts.

no way to plan for it...FA cup and CL knockouts surely unpredictable.
Last season it turned out that people could get by because of the way the FA Cup draw went and the number of PL teams left in it, the season before though people made huge scores with their WCs. It remains to be seen, but if you can not use it and still be at a good rank it can only be a benefit to you.
I am just saving it for when my team actually starts flopping. So far, I have been getting green arrows every week so nothing to worry about 🙂 (We can ignore the fact that I have had a terrible start).
But hanging on to the WC til after January is enough to send anyone insane. Prefer to get it out of the system around this time when solid FPL picks are beginning to emerge
