As Tottenham gear up for an eye-catching run of fixtures, many Fantasy managers are lining up a route into Andre Villas-Boas’ attacking options. With Roberto Soldado failing to justify a place in our three-man frontlines, attentions have turned to midfield and, despite the re-emergence of Gylfi Sigurdsson in the last few weeks, doubts over his long-term starting role has seen our attentions focus on a couple of the club’s summer signings.

Paulinho and Christian Eriksen have both been subject to much debate on the site this week, with investment rising across the Fantasy games. In this next article for members, we cast an eye over their respective displays for the north London club and also analyse the Brazilian’s performances with and without the former Ajax man, in order to ascertain just what effect – if any – Eriksen has had on his fellow new boy.

Paul Is certain he won't make the same mistakes next season. Follow them on Twitter

Need to play 2 out of this lot

    Odds for CS
    Clyne (SWA) 2.70
    Faye (AVL) 2.75
    Burner (NEW) 2.90
    Wilson (ful) 3.25

Should I go with the bookies and play Clyne+Faye?

Didn't realise Mirallas has an injury.

    Bench and play Kim instead?

    McGregor
    Walker - Koscielny - Shaw
Ben Arfa - Ramsey - Michu - Mirallas
    Sturridge - Giroud - Sturridge

    Boruc - Kim - Coleman - Turner

Feel sorry for their fans at the moment... Pardew is clueless. On paper taht team should do better, but he messes them up. Playin your main attacker on the left instead of his preferred right vs a gr8 defender in coleman(vs an average defender in Baines) and then remove him at half time and slag him off to the press.. Gr8 man management. Pretty sure he'll get in that useless jonas(not a fan favorite at all) with the excuse of gettin more defensive! yuck

Hello everyone! I have made from last Sunday Ben Arfa -> Whittingham

    My team atm

    Mignolet
    Enrique, Coleman, Clyne
    Michu, Eriksen, Ozil, Whittingham
    Rooney(C), Sturridge, Lukaku

    4.0, Whittaker, 4,3, Chester

0 FT, 2.4 in Bank. Problem is my bench wont play at all so i have just 11 players atm. Shall i take a hit to bring a defender up to 6.6 instead of Whittaker and bench Coleman or leave as it is? Any opinions appreciated

I am for Paulinho. If I had the balls, I would go Sigurdsson.

I to have no balls. I think I may go Paulinho as a differential. Will play every game too. Real box to box player.

Paulinho has nearly twice the ownership of Eriksen.

(I think they're both good options BTW, right now there's not much to choose between them apart from price).

For one or two gameweeks only. Sagna back in 3 weeks, hardly worth 2 FTs and an Arsenal slot.

I wouldn't be overly bothered bringing him in for this game alone.

      Will he start? Yes.

      Will Arsenal concede? Most likely.

Will he contribute to any goals? Highly unlikely.

I rate him, I actually was all for him ousting Sagna last season. Does it make what I said any less releveant? Probably not.

I need to take a hit to field 11 this week. Thinking of sodding it and taking -8 to sort things out a bit, or a -4. Options:

    A) Chambers out for Clyne
    B) Chambers out for Dawson
    C) Chambers out for B Davis

    D) HBA out for Siggy + one of above

      B. Spurs at home against anyone, especially West Ham who always go for the 0-0 draw away from home, are almost guaranteed a clean sheet this season.
