What you suggest is that if RVP gets 2 goals per game for 10GW is that he'll cease to if he gets injured for 1 gw and returns. Logic to me says use past events to predict the future.
Rvp returning from injury, people assume, based on past events, that he will do well in the future. I've justapplied numbels to this in the case of Reid (on phone excuse spelling)

the point is you can't use past results like that without further examination. What were the fixtures like? Did he score goals? How many SOT does he average a game etc. Not just 'he scored x in the past so will score y in the future. If it was that easy this game would be fun at all.

Anyone feel strongly on who to pick between Azpi & Fonte? I don't see much in it. Chelsea in excellent form defensively, but Fonte more bonus and goal potential. Both potential season keepers. Any thoughts?

If you had to transfer one in and you don't already have any Saints defenders, I'd get Fonte for attacking potential.

Both good value options but I think Azpi has to shade it. Chelsea are very solid and he is nailed (more-or-less). Fonte is good but there are cheaper Saints defence out there and I wouldn't overtstate the bonus/goals potential. Lovren is also a huge loss, and I think Yoshida is nailed at 4.0m in his absence. Saints fan, btw.
Open ControlsThanks. Don't really want to go Yoshida because he will eventually lose his spot back to Lovren. So that leaves Shaw, but he seems to get minor niggles from time-to-time. I have a good team value and want Fonte from Saints if I go there. So it is him or Azpi. Azpi only has two bonus points this season. A bit more upside from Fonte if all goes well, but can expect regular cleanies from Azpi.
