After kicking off our series of Big Numbers articles with a look at the best performing Defenders over the first three Gameweeks, we now move further up the pitch. This time round we focus on midfielders, with a trio of summer signings all showing plenty of promise in their new surroundings.

No indication of anything imminent, especially with a CS against Stoke, but the threat is always there... a no go area for me, especially as Stoke arent too impressive anyway.

I quite like the look of the guy Robertson at Hull.

Bit early to declare him the best 4.5m available, and i think he's carrying an injury atm, but i'll deffo be keeping an eye on his performances, and not just his FF returns.

He bombs on, and gets himself into some great positions.

At the moment, i might just go someone like Yoshida, for the chance of solid cleanies but not much more. Lovely fixtures coming up. 6 nice games, 4 at home.

Interesting fact: this is the first competitive win that Rooney's been involved in since 26th April when Man Utd beat Norwich.

Good win for England, that. I think poor old Roy gets unfairly criticized, but nothing new there for an England manager.
Giving youth it's chance and nothing wrong with those substitutions either.

Missing a few players too(Walcott, Sturridge, Barkley). Not exactly pretty football but fully effective, as English football has always been.

Yeah, England fans sometimes forget that qualifying isn't a "given". You guys do it effortlessly so often. There's a whole other tier of European teams that would snap your hand off for that regularity of qualification.

Not sure how you can hate on Welbeck as an FPL option. 6.9M for a nailed on Arsenal striker who, despite popular opinion, has a pretty good goalscoring record (as striker). Will be looking to bring him in. Only thing putting me off right now is their fixtures (although they're not as bad as they look)

He'll get service like he did today. For his price, could be a bargain. Otherwise Naismith is a decent cheap option.

Man City game should be full of goals, then Aston Villa, then Spurs which should be full of goals. Only terrible one is Chelsea.

I would seriously consider him, but (Chelsea injury check aside), am happy for the moment with my front three of Costa-Rooney-Naismith

FFScout members will know that Welbeck is good. His goal scoring record when given game time is right up there with the top strikers when looking at the stats. I'm not sure why people question him either. 6.9m for Arsenal's main striker until Christmas at least looks like FPL gold to me.

Home to City and away to chelsea. Couldn't be much worse. Also, not good if you have Ramsey.

Chelsea away I agree you can't get any worse. But it's not like Man City are massively solid at the back away from home. Just as much chance of scoring against them as he has against Villa away imo. Makes no difference to me if I also own Ramsey, I judge them on their individual merit.

Said it many times before. Not having Ramsey is a crime. 3 assists and a goal in an international game don't guarantee you easy points from Di Maria, wait for him to settle in.

The blocking all game was atrocious which definitely doesnt help anything, Eli was given no time in the pocket and the only receiver who played well was the one everyone thought the least of. Plus DRC all game has no chance again Megatron who just pulverized their secondary all night long, from the mishap on the first drive throughout

I'm not very good with Photoshop, so it's just two images stuck together making the background lighter.

Unfortunately the gravs are a bit small , so you can't see it, but the rainbow is actually made of lego.
