Every little point counts. With the mini-league gap between myself and co-host Granville widening by the week, my Mancunian friend can ill-afford to throw points aside in his bid to follow up last season’s victorious campaign.

In and around the usual ScoutCast regulars, Granville recalls the dilemma that saw him get away with benching Cesc Fabregas to the tune of just a single point. Will that prove costly?

We then join forces to run the rule over the accelerating Di Maria bandwagon, assess Rooney’s re-positioning and decide whether those steering away from Ramsey Street need to re-programme their sat navs.

Treasure this nonsense via this link or cling to these worldly goods via the handy player below…

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

    Mannone (krul)
    Taylor, Clyne, wisdom (Wilson, Hutton)
    Fab, ADM, Sig, Ramsey (bentaleb)
    Costa (C), Welbeck, Aguero

    1.1 in bank

Couple of dilemmas I would appreciate help with:
I have Ramsey, contemplating a swap to Sterling as I have no Liverpool players, but have Welbeck for Arsenal too. Sterling might go up in value tonight, slim chance Ramsey could go down, but should I make the switch?
Is Milner worth a punt as 5th midfielder? He has shone in a couple of games this season, but rotation could deem I pointless.
    Appreciate any good advice......

I wouldn't ship Ramsey. London derby could be great. Afterwards Chelsea which is tough but then the fixtures are all smooth! Liverpool isn't producing yet, so no haste.

Milner seems a player used for league cup and so on but not EPL at the moment. If you would want a fifth mid of 5+ million, I'd go for Zaha. He's been great for CRY, and wouldn't mind if he comes of the bench in my team.

Would you get rid of Eriksen or Adebayor if you had 2 Spurs? I know some people would say both but I'd like to have one longer term (probably Eriksen). The obvious one is Adebayor with a move to either Pelle/Lukaku/Welbeck (I have a bit of money itb for the Lukaku option) but my gut is saying that Spurs have been poor lately I can see them raising it for the Derby and if anyone will score it'll be Ade against his old team. Any advice greatly appreciated.

It seems that fiso finally got the price rises correct. Fabregas and Forster both rose last night.

I hope you're right. I think they were helped by the lack of WCs played as they probably skew the readings

Anyone think Chester will get back into the team this weekend?

    Hi all 😀
    Begovic (Myhill)
Wisdom - Pieters - Taylor (Coloccini, Lovren)
Sterling - Siggy - Henderson - Fabreas - Di Maria
    Aguero - Costa (Zamora)
    1 FT & 1.3 ITB

Can I get away with saving my FT this week and try and fix my team next week? Might consider WC over the international break as well if things doesn't work out...
    Thanks in advance! 🙂

Captain dilemma. Safe Costa or 'not so fit' Aguero?

I think the answer speaks for itself

Not so sure Costa is safe as he might be rested, but the majority will go for him

I doubt it. Looks like Jose is more focussed on winning the PL than the CL

Well, I'm just not too sure that Costa will start, hoping Jose will hint something though, as that will make my captaincy chose a lot easier. But Jose reckon they will beat Villa without Costa, so he could start Remy, and save Costa for tuesday as they need a win against Lisbon.

I feel Costa was already rested midweek with the weekend in mind. I think Costa will start and be taken off at half time if they are 1-0 or 2-0 up. So a full 90 minutes doesn't look like a possibility. I think I ll take a gamble and go with Aguero. Cheers!

Yeah, think something like that might happen - I think I'm going Di Maria 😀

Good luck. But I feel United will be fully on the back foot. Only 3 defenders are fit out of 9

Defence is awful atm, but doesn't mean Di Maria won't get a couple of goals 😉

I am having a really hard time deciding whether to get in Aguero or Pelle this week. Does it really have to be this difficult? Is 60 minutes of Aguero equal or better than 90 minutes of Pelle? I have not really seen Pelle in action, but his stats are good. Watching Aguero you get the feeling that he can score at any moment, do you get the same impression with Pelle or has been fortunate? Sometimes forwards can go missing for periods in the game. Aguero never does, does Pelle? Any insights would be much appreciated.

Sorry to complicate matters but Ulloa's fixtures are better than either of them and he has only not delivered 1 week so far

Fair enough. I just think they are. Up until GW 13 you wouldn't bench Ulloa at all. You would consider benching Pelle next week

Fair enough. To be honest both Southampton & Leicester have quite nice run of fixtures.

Pelle never goes missing. He's always in the thick of it and scores through sheer determination. He isn't actually very clinical but his involvement will see him through as a great pick.

Keep and take the two FTs. I think Falcao will be a better pick long-term but this is only an estimate - whereas the two FTs are definite.
