Our Watchlist rankings, which offer player recommendations over the next four to six Gameweeks, have been updated over the last 24 hours.

Between the sticks, West Ham’s Adrian is on the up after collecting his first clean sheet of the season in Gameweek 7. The Hammers face a trip to Burnley this weekend, and with their opponents having only scored in one of their last six, the 5.0-priced Spaniard could be set for further returns come Saturday afternoon. Arsenal number one Wojciech Szczesny also climbs the rankings due to Calum Chambers’ one-match suspension and the injury doubts hanging over Laurent Koscielny in the Gunners’ defence.

With excellent fixtures ahead for Arsene Wenger’s side (HUL, sun, BUR, swa), their backline looks set to prosper in spite of current form (it’s only one shut-out so far this season for a defence that accumulated 17 clean sheets last term), and Per Mertesacker – as their most nailed-on rearguard option right now – comes into our defensive standings as a result.

Joining team-mate Adrian in rising up our rankings is Hammers centre back James Tomkins, whose attacking threat has already earned his owners two assists up to this point. Across the way at Tottenham, meanwhile, Younes Kaboul climbs to just below Tomkins thanks to his kind fixtures from Gameweek 9 onwards (NEW, avl, STK, hul).

Jeffrey Schlupp is a new entry at the back thanks to his out-of-position prospects – the Leicester man is available for just 4.5 and was utilised on the left wing in the Foxes’ last league fixture, bagging his first goal of the season in the process. Another defender prospering due to their out-of-position status is Hull’s Andrew Robertson. Like Schlupp, he is on offer for just 4.5 ,and though his next three fixtures are rather tough (ars, liv, SOU), his strong form and position on the left of midfield in the Tigers’ 3-5-2 formation brings him into contention.

There is little movement in midfield, where Raheem Sterling holds on to the top spot, with Fantasy Premier League midfield frontrunners Gylfi Sigurdsson (sto, LEI, eve, ARS, mci) and Angel Di Maria (wba, CHE, mci, CRY, ars) only failing to climb due to their tricky schedules. The likes of Jordan Henderson (6.0), Saido Mane (6.9) and James Milner (5.3) continue to bubble under as mid-price differentials and cheaper alternatives to their team-mates further up the rankings – all three have strong fixtures to boost their points potential.

Daniel Sturridge is the big addition to our rankings up front. The Liverpool striker is likely to be eased back into action after recovering from a thigh injury, but as he proved against Southampton in Gameweek 1, needs little time to introduce himself. The 11.3-priced England man has enticing fixtures against QPR, Hull and Newcastle to find his feet and could prove an outstanding differential in the coming weeks.

Danny Welbeck is the main mover in our forward standings and now sits just below the template trio of Diego Costa, Graziano Pelle and Sergio Aguero. Though he has picked up returns in one of his four appearances in an Arsenal shirt, the lack of clear options in the Gunners’ midfield right now ensures that Welbeck, at a mere 7.3, is their main attacking asset for the moment – reports indicate he’s set to return to training after shrugging off the knock picked up on England duty. Should Alexis Sanchez begin to justify his 10.3 price tag and Theo Walcott quickly readjust to life in the Premier League upon his return from injury next week, both are likely to be elevated in next week’s refresh.

The thing I love about football is how it transcends politics and religion and bonds enemies in mutual love of sporting fears and respect.

The flag hovering over the stadium in Belgrade wasn't just an Albanian flag but a map of "greater Albania" with the Albanian flag imprinted in it.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Greater_Albania

Greater Albania is an extremist view, however shared by the majority of Albanians, that parts of Macedona, Greece, Serbia, Montenegro and the whole Kosovo province actually belong and should be a part of Albania.

Nothing wrong with that information. Putting out politicaly disturbing symbols is under UEFA regulations cause for banning. So presenting this has football significance cause the game will probably be registered 3:0 for Serbia, and maybe even kicking Albania out of the qualifications.

Of course I'm just a humble lawyer so maybe UEFA knows better than me.

Here you can clearly see the details on the flag. It is blatantly obvious that it represents borders of fascist country that violently occupied parts of Greece, Serbia, Macedonia and Montenegro in WW II, so i dont think that noone in their right mind could be supporting this.

they are turning the guy into a farce. Plenty of 19 year olds in world football playing a lot of games.

That may be so but the trick is to keep pressure off them and manage them well....This is far, far from that.....In addition Sterling is a very high energy player so sometimes it's not comparing apples with apples in terms of how much effect p,aching a lot of games has on individual players...If he's knackered then he's knackered and that's all...Hodgson should have accepted it and kept it private.

What has rogders done wrong. It's all Woy the neanderthal. Anyway, he's back home talking to dr steve peters soon. No problem 🙂

No problem ?...I won't subscribe to the notion that Sterling turned up for the England matches and didn't want to play because he is some sort of soft arse who couldn't be bothered...I've no idea why people are automatically assuming that.
What Hodgson said is maybe right..although he's stupid to have made it public...BR spent a shed load of money in the summer and he's having to flog a young player into the ground instead...why aren't his new signings carrying some load ?
I feel a bit sorry for Sterling tbh...

A bit sorry? Those two managers deserve no respect whatsoever.

Aye...People forget that Sterling is at an age where most players of his age are being put out on loan to clubs where they won't have to play the same number of games, and they won't have the same pressure...Between the two of them they are doing the exact opposite...

Maybe Woy was annoyed, he no doubt suspected that it was BR who was responsible for Sterling saying he was tired, acting under instruction

Woy is of an age where he can look at things with a long eye...and as a manager he has a duty to manage situations in private without dragging the world and his wife into public slanging matches..Being annoyed doesn't excuse him.

I think the whole club v country thing is crazy.

          It trivialises international football.

To be honest BR should pull his horns in if heat is coming from him and Liverpool regarding Sterling playing international football.

In terms of potential I don't think there's a massive difference between Januzaj and Sterling...Sterling will be the better player but you take my point I hope. In terms of management Januzaj is being managed a lot better...he's about where he should be for that age...

I hadn't missed an Irish competitive home qualifier since the 1984 campaign 😯 but stopped going during the Trapp era. It's amazing what a new manager can do. Gonna be a great battle between us, yous and Poland!

My dad showed me The Fog when I was a kid. He built a contraption involving a long string, pulleys and a plank of wood behind the sofa. When the ghosts knocked on the door he pulled the string and made three loud bangs. Scared the shit out of me 😆

Perhaps that, but also I would not double on Sterling and Hendo--get Fabs, or Hazard, or Silva, or some kind of Walcott place-holder, and maybe go a bit cheaper at the back.
