that's what I thought and figured until I saw how often he played centrally for Fiorentina..obviously Mou will do whatever he likes, but the fact that he's capable isn't exactly encouraging
They sold Schürrle from his way, because he is going to play a similar role, that is, on flank. If he was meant to play in the middle, they would have sold a player who they use in the middle.
I think it's more that Schurrle doesn't do defensive work and he doesn't need someone who doesn't track back..same reason he sold Mata
He wasn't bought to replace anyone. He was bought to provide necessary depth and rotation for the 3 attacking midfielders. Something Schuerrle wasn't able to do this season.

Seriously? Come on, this was a huge injustice and although it clearly is not personally against him (nobody else in similar position gets to play in France), there were quite a few very personal comments against him from the officials in France.
I dont know the ins and outs of it tbh. But he had his chance at Newcastle and Hull, so I have no sympathy if he wants to throw in the towel.
The thing is that he is not allowed to play for Nice because he appeared in a match for the Newcastle U21's. Chalobah who likewise played for Chelsea's U21's aside from his loan spell at Burnley, has, however, been allowed to play for Reading.
Ben Arfa has had a few chances and got in problems everywhere, but it's still easy to understand why he would get pretty hurt

I have one FT available but can't decide how to use it.
my midfield is currently: Santi, silva, ADM, hazard, boyd
my strikers are: Kun, Kane, ings
with the money I have available I can bring in any midfielder for one of the others bar Boyd but I could also bring in giroud for ings and leave the midfield as it is. Any suggestions?
