Our members articles analysing last season are completed today with a review of West Ham’s performances. The Hammers entered 2014/15 in reasonable health, having finished 13th in the Premier League in the previous campaign, although they only gained 40 points and did flirt with the relegation zone before finally confirming their top-flight status.

Plenty of changes were made in both playing and coaching personnel at Upton Park last summer, with forwards Enner Valencia and Diafra Sakho brought in, while Teddy Sheringham joined up as an attacking coach. Cheikhou Kouyate and Aaron Cresswell were also signed, while Carl Jenkinson and Alex Song moved to the Hammers on season-long loans.

In this members article, we asses the main goal threats and creators in Sam Allardyce’s final year at the helm and also compare the team’s attacking numbers to the previous year.

As has been said before, no one is really nailed in the Arsenal midfield.
Walcott, Ox, Cazorla, Ozil, Ramsey, Wilshere, Sanchez... no way that anyone is as nailed-on as we are hoping.

Now, Best Sunderland def other than PVA?

Are we any more wiser on this situation than yesterday?

But Giroud looked good after coming on and has a good record vs WHM. And Ox is undroppable after his performance today.

He was disappointing today, though he got an assist. That being said, Theo CF vs Chelsea wasn't going to be convincing anyway. West Ham, with due respect, are more vulnerable.

Then again, I thought that Chester going to WBrom was odd. They already had a good number of CBs that they had success with last year. Maybe the Chester move seems less odd if Lescott is on the way out.

    Why the Walcott sales bonanza?

He got one assist, and was substitute after an hour. Possibly to rest him for West Ham.
We dont know that he will be benched on sunday, and for all we know he could start as a forward again.

For 9m he got to be wurth a gamble in GW1.
Worst case downgrade to one 8,5..

Ozil & Sanchez have 2 nailed down.
That means Giroud, Walcott, Cazorla, & Ramsey will fight to fill out the rest.

To me, Sinclair is the ideal replacement for Walcott/Sterling the day I want Aguero. If he looks good, then great. If he doesn't look good, then choose the 5.0 who does.

Taking Costa out due to injury. Have 11.5m to spent, who is everyone thinking will do will for the first for GW's?

Currently got Vardy Wilson up front.

Vardy and Wilson? I was going to suggest a punt on Sakho, and save some money for Aguero. But with those two, I think I would have looked to Rooney.

Why? Wilson has a tasty GW1 fixture. Play 3-5-2 and rotate Wilson and Sakho

What do do with/think of Benteke? A goal today suggest he is match fit, at least. And if he's fit, he should get some goals just being Benteke. But I don't feel comfortable starting with him. Still, greater potential than Pelle. And a great price.

    I can't decide about him.

Depends. If you have costa then walcott, fabregas, sterling. If you dont then fabregas first.

I think I would like to have two of them. Currently on Walcott/Sterling to go along with Haz and Chadli.
