      Screw the "benching migraine".

      I've had benched points of 10,9,15 prior to getting Alli last week...and that was even owning westwood and a non playing keeper!

                Not sure how its a boring season. You have 5-6 forwards who produce, you have more than 8 midfielders who put points in. No where near boring. Makes your decisions harder.

    Payet is too good. Stung a little not owning him last night but no one in my MLs have him so not too bad.

      I have the some front 8, except I own Lucky Luke instead of Ighalo. I played Mahrez(1) and benched Alli(9) last week....played Alli and benched Mahrez this week...

      So what? People make way to much of the so called "benching migraine"... Nothing different to benching Williams for 2/3 CS the last 4 weeks.

                Yea, that's why I value it so highly, Doos to his credit put it together a good few years ago on here, I'd honestly say some of the best posters/players I know play in LAWR-it's always a good benchmark of where you are rank wise in terms of generally good players, I think Doos formed a waiting list-I'd imagine it's a nightmare to manage at peak times but he makes it look so easy 😉

        Bojan's done alright for me since I brought him in! Got me a couple of decent scores. A 9 and a 12 I think. Needed someone other than Ighalo to try and make up some ground in my ML and I had to play him against Norwich.

      TV becomes less and less important as the season goes on. Not selling purely because you'll lose TV is a typical mistake a lot of people make during the 2nd half of the season, imo.

          So were you never going to ditch Mahrez, just because he has risen in price since you got him? If you ditch him on your WC you still lose some of your profit, so you either never sell him or you wear the loss. You've actually made money on him, you're not really losing anything.

          Well yes, this is clearly an advantage. And if you haven't wildcarded yet, then accumulating Team Value (and hence Selling Value) is still a reasonable tactic. But if a player you own has risen 1.4 then not selling him purely because you don't like your TV going down 0.7 is not something I'd advise. If you think the time is right to sell and bank the 0.7, then you should do it. I wouldn't personally in this instance because I think Mahrez will carry on picking up enough points to make selling him a mistake.
