    Had Payet (C), not sure whether to call it lucky or a rare good decision, probably the former!

    With that in mind, I'm thinking of use my two free transfers to bring in Enner Valencia in place of Giroud, which I'll probably do now, and then maybe Wollscheid out for Baines tomorrow evening.

    Unless anyone else sees anything I need to do ASAP?

        Everton GW 23 -> 30 have- Home: Swansea, Newcastle, West Brom, West Ham. Away: Stoke, Villa, Sunderland, Liverpool. Plus Baines is on penalties I assume.

        West Ham GW 24 -> 30 have- Home: Villa, Sunderland, Spurs, Watford. Away: Soton, Norwich, Everton. Plenty of opportunities for goals along with Payet.

          I doubt Baines is on penalties anymore. Lukaku must have them. Everton are also hopeless at keeping clean sheets so that's a lot of money for a defender with poor CS prospects.

          Giroud is certainly a better forward pick than Valencia imo. We also don't know how long Carroll is out for. Jelavic is also in the picture. Then there are Aguero and Kane

          As a Hammers fan, dont get Valencia. He needs to show some consistency before worth considering and can have the odd injury.

          Striker is a competitive spot now, Rooney, Vardy, Ighalo, Giroud, Kane, Aguero, Costa are all worthy options

      Are you a West Ham fan? Any reason why you think Valencia would be an FPL option given that he's only scored 6 in 40 games for them so far? If I wanted to bring a 2nd West Ham player in it would probably be Antonio - last 3 games he's been fantastic. Who to bring him in for is the tough question though. I might be tempted to swap out KDB for him and go Giroud > Aguero.

          I'm not a Hammers fan, unfortunately for me I'm a Fulham fan, tough times.

          I agree that Antonio has been great, and if he were a forward I'd get him, but I'm content with my midfield for now. The issue I have is that I'm not overly enamoured by Giroud's returns since I've had him, while Kane is impossible due to the rules of my mini league being that I must have three defenders from the same team, and I chose Spurs. Aguero is a possibility but I want to make sure he isn't going to get re-injured again and prove his price tag is worth it.

          Hence why I landed at Valencia, he's played

            Yeah I'd definitely want to get rid of Giroud - just not an exciting FPL prospect! Sucks about the rules and not being allowed Kane! I think 4 games (5 after tomorrow) is enough to know Aguero is fit.... overall I think him + Antonio will massively outscore Valencia + KDB though. I just can't see KDB getting too many big hauls now Aguero is back.

    Other than pens, is Daniels more nailed than Smith?

    last 4 GWs they post very similar stats, with Smith edge seeming to edge it for attacking threat.

    Basically-is Daniels worth the extra 0.4?

      For the most part, holding off on players coming off injury is a solid strategy that should pay off in the long run. There will always be excepption and we did get confirmation from Bilic that he would start

      To the people drafting Payet in before tomorrow night's games have been played, i commend you. Don't feel guilty because others don't want to pay extra for him. Everyone plays the game their own way. Early transfers are fun and work for some people. Other people are risk-averse, nothing wrong with playing the money game

        If I bring him in it means benching lukaku next week more then likely so I am certainly not worried about any injuries or suspensions tomorrow that's for sure. I just really didn't want to get Payet until a few weeks time.
