With Firmino and Alli performing, Sanchez and Payet being popular choices for future high point scorers can I skip Mahrez and look forward to having a Leicester double up in defence and have only Vardy as their attacking coverage?

    My thinking is that Mahrez has already scored a total of 183 points. Tbf he will max to max return 40 odd more points if you go by the law of average of the previous highest scorers. The Leicester defence is looking solid and i'm not getting enough points from my defence so I need those points there and if other mids get returns close to mahrez then i'll be ok..

    Equally good to own but Mahrez probably edges it down to being less good midfielders to choose from as opposed to forwards. I'd still have both tho rather than a double up on Leicester defence.

  Had tough fixtures though...if I owned definitely would keep for both Palace and Bournemouth. They have another tough run of fixtures after that though starting with United away and Leicester at Home so I would get rid after Bournemouth - even if he gets a haul there.

RANT. I think CDM is an awful position. It is an excuse of a position for old players who do not have legs. It is an excuse for bad centre backs. It is an excuse for unatheletic, lumbering, unfit oafs. By having a CDM (or two!) that do not contribute to going forward your attacking moves are much weaker. A CM should be able to contribute to attack and be able to defend. Rant over! 🙂

  Fair rant if you are a City supporter.
  Got ripped apart today by a lumbering oaf not contributing enough to either constantly leaving his centre backs 2 on 2 for Vardy et al to keep nipping in.
  
  Except of course when played properly like Spurs did today where full backs Trippier & Davies ripped up Watfords flanks but their CDM Dier always dropped back as a 3rd CB to cover, stopping Watford from having break aways. Oh yes & Trippier scored while Dier covered his place so CDM contributing superbly to both.
  I thinks its called flexibility.

  If only ,say, Aguero then 1 has to go this week. Firm to Alli, or Luka to vardy
