Oh, well - in that case then it's worth pointing out that there is a 'slight' chance that Everton's DGW34 is SOT, cpl - which would have a knock on effect on MUN, WHU, WAT, CPL's GW34. But we won't go into that.

    Team is:

    Elliot (DDG)
Van Dijk Bellerin CRESSWELL TARGETT WARD
    Silva Siggy Mahrez Alli PAYET
    Kun IGHALO Vardy

    2FT 5.2 ITB

The players in caps don't have a GW30 fixture.
I was thinking of doing Cresswell to Kompany and Ighalo to Kane to get out 11. Should I go ahead with it?

don't get dazzled by having 11 playing nxt week because It might cost you big for eventually having a 0 to 1 point return.
Plus, you have to take the following fixtures into consideration rather than making a XI for GW30 a priority

What teams players do I need to get in and which do I need to lose in terms of DGWs and blanks post GW30?!

I have 2FTs and a fine team as it stands, so some preperation would indeed come in handy.
    Thanks

Many in DGW 37 will be a rotation risk, more nailed on in DGW 34 to play twice

Yep, I think GW36 is very late for a WC too, but I suppose it depends somewhat on which games will be played in which GW.

I'd much rather WC for DGW34 as it gives a wider pool of players to cover for the blanks the following week.

All 15 nailed on DGW starters will give enough cover for the blank GW, bench headache to follow but FTs will sort it out by GW37

Quick question. If Ars beat Hull tomorrow, they have their match at he weekend postponed for FA cup next round?

That seems unbelievably short notice for fans!

It does doesn't it, not just that but in the next round of FA cup, the winner is at home so Watford fans won't know if they have the short journey to Emirates or all the way to Hull!

Five outfield players blank this week, what's an acceptable hit to get full XI? Have Ozil as well who could blank.

Will you then be forced into hits for the probable GW34 double game players or have a WC to play?

I thought I wanted 11 out for this week but having made the transfers which cost me points over two GWs I'm sure I'll lose out whatever they do this week.

    Basic generic answers.

    1) Do not sell Firmino.
    2) Do not sell Alexis.
    3) Siggy is a good buy. He isn't a must. Don't take a hit for him. His upside isn't that great.
    4) Williams or MCI defender.
    5) Aguero or Silva should not be rested. They have a 7 day break before Norwich.
    6) Balders

    Not too shabby.

    1FT 1M in the bank

    Butland
    Toby Fuchs Williams Targett
    Silva Mahrez Alli
    Kun Vardy Kane

    xx Ozil Firmino Bellerin

    a) Targett -> Wolly
    b) Save FT for 34 planning. Hope Targett places (odds higher with Fonte red)
    c) Something else

So now the argument not to WC in 36 is that teams will be rotated in 37... Isn't that more reason to wildcard late? You will then know which teams to avoid rather than planning ahead with less info.

Oh I am loving the layers of options this scenario is bringing :D. Bye bye template

One advantage of the GW37 BB is that you will know the really hungry teams. In GW34 there are more out there fighting, so more choice. Depends on what you'd prefer, sure things(+rotation) or wider choice.

The more I think about it the more I think that my triple captaincy is likely to be better played wk34, probably on Arsenal if they have CPL and WBA at home and then WC and bench boost for 37.

There are issues with all the options though, none of these sets of fixtures particularly stand out - although Pool's potential WAT/EVE at home in 37 would be decent enough.

Ayew owned by 12.2% Siggy owned by 5.5%

      Siggy is the differential

I see this all the time. Because players are mentioned alot by the community people assume they are not a differential. Siggy over Ayew is a case in point. Ayew is the well owned pick in comparison.

Same for Charlie Daniels - he's still only owned by 10% of managers and is the second placed defender in FPL. He's still a differential.

Guys..know its still early days..assuming WAT dgw is scheduled for 34..would anyone of you consider bringing in Ighalo rather than going premium front 3? Seems like a problem esp if intending to BB and funds need to be spread across the team to get better quality players in MF and DF. He also has a good chance of gw35 non-blank vs nor esp if ARS beat hull..Also WAT have quite a nice run-in (including SUN and AVL)..

With Fonte out, I'm assuming Yoshida steps in.

Will Targett have a higher chance of playing, to shore up their defense and go 3-5-2?

Davies will be a shoe-in at 4.1 if Rose is out for a month surely?
