Right then, top of the page poll.

    A) Currently who is your GW30 captain? Vardy
    B) Which gameweeks are you looking to use WC, BB and TC? WC = 35/36. TC=34. BB=37.

    1. Jazz!
      • 10 Years
      9 years, 9 months ago

      A) Aguero (possibly Kane)
      B) WCing 34 (don't have BB) and TC 37

      1. Jazz!
        • 10 Years

Really depends on the City Newc game tbh.

    2. Acquafresca

      A) Aguero/ Kane/ Vahrez
      B) WC 33/35/36. TC=34. BB=37 (TC+BB could be swapped depending on fixures)

Hopefully it's all clearer by Friday.

Yeah so true. But Chelsea as a whole had a shocking start.

You couldn't make it up. Then the injury/ fallout with Mou.

Hazard had also 190pts+ his first 3 seasons. Probably gone in the summer.

Yup. And a pretty strong eleven too. Twelve if Ozil has a game. Kind of hope he doesn't though. A few of my rivals have more than one Arsenal player, and I'll have a bit of a benching problem if he does.

GW35 is FA Cup semi-finals so those fixtures will have to be moved most likely to 37, that's my understanding.

91 points this week. Up to 2.7k! Ozil and Vardy were my only blanks, Bellerin and alli were on my bench. I kept Payet, went Sanchez > Siggy (fairly blank move, though I probably wouldn't have played Sanchez if I had kept him) and Cresswell > Kompany.

Gw34 doubles: teams currently in the FA cup, and their opponents from GW30 blanks

Gw35 blanks: teams who progress in the FA cup, and their opponents

GW37 doubles: Teams who progressed in the FA Cup, and their opponents from GW35 blanks

What this tells me is there is a lot of overlap between doubles and blanks...Good luck trying to bench boost for GW34 and still field 11 in GW35... And if you manage that... God help you in GW37!

Surely the whole wildcard in GW33 is deeply flawed for this reason?

You can ride 34 and 35 quite well without a wildcard - just not to the extent you can bench boost. It would be 7-8 DGWs and some Leicester players etc.

Then wildcard and bench boost for 37

        1. foley_fd

I'm in this boat. Its easier to get 11 out for 34. Plus, Lei and Tot have tasty fixtures for 34.

      Keep them for 35. WC 36, BB 37 😉

there's the issue of timing though - surely only the top 4-6 and the bottom 3-4 will have anything to play for.. might also lead to rotation/reserves getting a run for teams that are safe

Teams knocked out in quarter final will probably have a double and then a blank (except west ham / man u)

Some teams with games cancelled because opponents have quarter final will probably have a double and then a blank

City and newcastle should have a double and then a blank

Should be plenty to choose from

The tough one is 37 as only liverpool and everton could have dgw34, sgw35, dgw37 - 3 from each of these me thinks

The best strategy is to have the best players for any given GW, regardless if they play twice or not. I personally wouldn't advise fielding a whole team of DGWers just for the sake of it and neglect a SGW who could outscore them in one game and then going forward you might be left with players you don't want and any gains made you lose.

With the rumours heating up and some good fixtures as well as a DGW, would McClaren getting fired and replaced till the end of the season increase the appeal in Newcastle punts? Attacking players most likely I guess

Payet 13,6,4,13,2,3,2,2,11,1,0 & Antonio 6,11,11,2,1,11,5,2,8,13 combined hauls have been pretty decent over the previous 11 GW`s
Definately doubling up on those two for their DGW looks very tempting indeed.

Awesome GW, and don't know how, but got a Awesome team next GW (wish i saved the bench boost for now).

    2 questions

Who to bench (2): Daniels, Kompany, Rose, Wolls, Williams

    Only have WC and 3C.
Best use WC on 34 and 3C on 37? Or any other strategy?

    Thkx in advance

    1. Lizard Lips

That's my bench for now. thkx.

What about WC strategy? WC on 33 and 3C on 34, is also an option, but thinking the other one (all depends on fixtures for 3C right?)

How annoying has Vardy been, we all ditched Lukaku cos of his blank and he has scored twice since, and vardy has just got that one lucky assist. Leicester just aren't scoring as many, they are happy to tighten games up now, and win them 1-0.

I didn't have him for Arsenal, since ditching lukaku ive had

        WBA - Blank
        Watford - Blank

If you go on transfers, then hit the data view tab you can view purchase price, current price and selling price. But this is only for players you currently own. You can't view PP for players you used to own.

Although you could use transfer history to work out when you bought a player and use the history of the player to work out roughly how much you bought them for.
