        When you think of what theve been doing so far, & now their main strikers Sakho & Carroll are back. Defenders Obrien,Byram,Reid due back in too.
        I fooled myself into selling Payet for Willian a few weeks back, he is getting double teamed. So I rate Antonio more for fpl points. Sakho could be big fave if vardy starts misfiring again.
        Might be tempted into my first FA cup bet before as I see them beating manU on monday.

          yeah, but you don't typically have room for a Bou defender in your XI when you have 4 other defenders with better fixtures. What's restraining me from this move is that Daniels will play every match to secure survival while other top teams will rest their starters once their goals are out of reach.

          exactly. It's a bit of an outreach to expect your defender to get assists and goals instead of cs's. however, it's rare for a defender to have penalty spot duties.

    Which would be better option do you think or you're planning to do? Any reasonings?

    A) Bench Boost 34 and Triple Captain 37 (as far as I remember the popular captain choices have failed previous years as the big teams loose interest at that point)

    B) Triple Captain 34 and Bench Boost 37 (rotation may take place if the Title is done and dusted and we may turn up getting less no of dgw players for gw37)

      do you risk a tc with little to play for or a bench boost that doesn't work

      A big thing to consider is who gets tc if you go in 37 as if a team has made the cup final we could see key players rested then

    This is my second FPL season, last season I wasn't aware of FFS, didn't take FPL too seriously and didn't pay attention to OR in the slightest and I ended up finishing around 80k.

    This year I'm @ 170k after an awful start and am aiming for top 10k. I feel annoyed for being so late to the FPL party, don't really know how I didn't stumble into it whilst I was at UNI tbh.

    To those of you who have been playing FPL for say 6+ seasons, have you noticed many changes over the years? In terms of amount of players, difficulty, enjoyment etc etc.

    I feel like I would have a pretty solid history by now, I guess I need to start from now, hey!

      This is my 9th season. 1st and 8th were the best for me. Yes you need to put some time into this but there's also a huge amount of luck involved too.

      There's a good few FPL veterans about - not least on the FFS team.

      Probably fair to say that you've got involved at a time when the game has witnessed it's biggest overhaul with the chips. Jury is still out on those for me.

      To this point, the game has been pretty steady with a "don't fix what's not broke" approach.

      Of course, we've all had contrasting seasons over that time - not least me who followed my worst ever campaign with my best.

      Even the veteran managers make mistakes. Some like myself and Kolarov, keep on making the same ones 😉

        Thanks for the reply and the welcome Mark.

        With regard the chips, despite my aforementioned limited FPL experience, I'm currently in the camp of not really being too fussed on them. However, if come the end of the season they have given those of us within the FFS community an extra edge on those from outside the community, then unsurprisingly i will be firmly in favour of them!

        As I mentioned, I'm annoyed I havn't been playing for longer, but, no point thinking about that now, just got to enjoy the game going forward.

        I'm a big fan of FFS and the people behind it, so keep up the good work.

        Also Mark, I forgot to mention that I am one of the fortunate few who benefited greatly from the online poker boom (as a player). I saw poker go from nothing to being huge overnight and observed many changes in terms of how easy the games were.

        I will be very interested with the increased monetisation of fantasy sport, to see how FPL develops over the coming years.

      I've been playing 9 years. Tbh most of the changes they have made have increased the luck side of things to make it more appealing to the masses. I'm an fpl conservative. It was near perfect when I started. The simplicity of predicting goal scorers/assisters/clean sheets and managing the budget and free trades is what I love. Hope they don't keep watering it down.

      My 5th Season, first as a FFS scout member, and I lurked for a year before that.

      Current OR 1966 which is a little bit of an improvement on previous seasons! Membership and access to the stats has been a help for sure, but consolidating experience and being a more disciplined has been helped a lot too.

      As mentioned the game format has been pretty static until this year with the chips. I've still got TC BB + WC so we'll see how useful they can be.

      This is a game that is usually dynamic and predictable at the same time.

      This season was very unusual because of the chips will fall and favorite of the league start.

      I even took me to get into some trends.
      It took me to buy Ozil when he made straight assists, relying on back of Sanchez.

      But the more different is the PL, tastier is to play.

      This is my 10th season of official FPL but have been playing other fantasy premier league games since the 02/03 season. I think most would say that it's getting harder to get a high rank with the influx of new players, but I'm having my best season yet. I think you can get a good idea of the general template for moderate success from the posts on here, but a bit more of your own research doesn't go astray if you want to be a step ahead.

    Kane non captainers, what are you hoping for?
    95% EO so a small gain for each point. Obviously if you have ML rival with Kane(c) then a fail is wanted.

    24 hits this season. 6 hits in hand for DGW's.....

    In a similar vein. I love UFPL now but was initially put off the game by the simple fact of having the same squad for the season being a bit boring. After a bit of guidance from WR I learned how to play the game properly and have actually taken 55 transfers/loans.....that's even more "changes" than my hits infested FPL game.
