Gameweek 35’s swansong finds Tottenham Hotspur and West Bromwich Albion meet under lights at White Hart Lane. The former breezed past Manchester United and Stoke City in their past two matches, while the Baggies have lost four of their previous five fixtures.

Spurs’ rampaging attack ranks second for goals (11), total attempts (74), big chances (12) and shots on target (26) over their respective last four match-ups, highlighting their abundance of threat in the final third. Considering that Mauricio Pochettino’s side have chalked up a whopping 24 more shots on target than any team at home (136), the Baggies will do well to stop them scoring. On the other hand, Spurs will fancy their chances of earning a clean sheet having conceded just 13 big chances at the Lane all season.

Delving into the Baggies’ productivity away from The Hawthorns, they place second-bottom for goals (12) and sit last for attempts (140), shots inside the box (78) and shots on target (37). That being said, only three teams have recorded more clean sheets in road ties than West Brom (six), which suggests that Spurs could be in for a frustrating evening. Having posted four blank in five outings, Tony Pulis’ men are certain to bunker down in the capital.

Mini league leader is 99 points ahead and set to have 11 dgw players with his FTs whereas I can have 10 dgw players with FTs

We also both have Triple captain

Do I still have a shot?

That's a decent start. Need to smash them this week as they can copy your team if they want.

55 points this GW... done well with 10 players.. mannone turned out to be a masterstroke

Coutinho + welbeck > Sturridge and 5.5 mid (debating loftus cheek or nor/sun mid for dgw?) -4?

They'll be a great differential I suppose. It would have to be the day old Fabs or Hazard choice.

I'm thinking Aguero + Mahrez out for Fabs + Sturridge in that week, real upside potential to it as a gamble. Haz is a bit too far as a price stretch.

Early thoughts on my team, needing to hunt down my ML rival.

    DDG - (Henn)
    Clichy - Belle - Huth - (Dawson) - (Williams)
    Mane - Mahrez - Ozil - Sanchez - (Lanzini)
    Aguero - Kane - Defoe

    .3 ITB, 1 FT.

Concerns are 1) no pool players, Clichy's lack of minutes, having a tough bench choice each week.

    Cheers, appreciate thoughts in advance!

Ozil has been playing just as well as when he's been in the points, quite a huge differntial I'd say with such easy games to play.

This is a crazy game. Didn't Alli get a couple of assists the other week and not get bonus? Tonight he does nothing and gets 2!

      • 14 Years
      10 years, 3 months ago

There was only 1 goalscorer and no CS, it's all relative. Some weeks 22 gets you 3 bonus, some weeks 36 gets you none.

Who would you rather have this week?

    A) Cresswell (wba)
    B) van Aanholt (stk)

Will get the other one in for GW37. The leader of my ML owns PVA so I'm leaning towards Cresswell based on that. Right move?

A few issues to patch up:

    DDG Robles
    Bellerin Gabriel Sakho Fuchs Kaboul
    KDB Sanchez Mahrez Lanzini Firmino
    Carroll Kane Aguero

    Is this the best option?
    KDB+Sakho -> Payet+Smalling-4

Means I'm stuck with gabriel, and I just sold smalling last week, but still..
