One more Gameweek. One more ScoutCast. The final whistle has almost blown on a remarkable season but we’re determined to fully exploit the final throws.

I’m joined by Jonty, Andy and Luke as we open a bumper 80-minute show with our dedication to Leicester City’s extraordinary title win. We then quickly shift to take on another raft of community questions as thoughts turn to Gameweek 37’s double fixtures.

We run the rule over the protagonists, assessing West Ham’s assets, Eden Hazard’s renaissance and even make an attempt to find a reason to make a late investment in Norwich City. Then necks are put on the block as we review the weekend fixtures, coming clean on our current double Gameweek transfer and captaincy plans.

The ScoutCast is first aired live on our YouTube channel on Wednesday night. Be sure to subscribe to get a heads up on future broadcasts.

You can view the full Google Hangout version of this episode via the second player below or stream the edited audio from this link or the first player.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Need advice please. Would like to get the Holy West Ham Trinity in for -8:

    Alder > Cresswell
    Couts > Payet
    Mitrosub > Carroll

No can do tho, already have Lanzini and can't get him out and his three teammates in without another hit, don't want -12. So, which of the three Hammers should I not bring in?

Was planning Carroll for TC, Payet backup option if I get Defoe instead (or even risk Mitrosub again! half an hour vs Villa...)

        1. Boglander

          Have PVA. Current squad:

          Mignolet - De Gea
          PVA - Darmian - Fuchs - Bell - Alder
          Townsend - Sanchez - Iwobi - Lanzini - Couts
          Ags - Kane - Mitrosub

Can't get all of Cresswell, Payet and Carroll because of Lanzini stinking things up in there.

Might leave Alder until next week if not getting Cresswell, play Darmian-PVA-Fuchs, save myself -4. Bench Iwobi too. Can see a clean sheet or even two from WH in those fixtures though...

Was gonna do a -8 to get two more dgwers but now that firmino + Sturridge might only play once or less I'll be taken a -8 to field 6 dgwers instead of 7/8 as planned.

    Sakko,firmino, Sturridge OUT
    Cresswell, hazard,Carroll (c) IN.

My rival has both haz + Carroll + Adrian. And probably will get payet and TC him.

    What do you reckon lads?

    A) Bellerin, Milner, Kane > Smalling, Hazard, Defoe (-8) – Play Sanchez as 4th mid

    B) Bellerin, Lanzini, Kane > Rojo , Hazard, Carroll (-8) - Play Milner as 4th mid.

    C) Milner, Lanzini, Kane, Sturridge > Hazard, Fabregas/Willian, Defoe, Carroll (-12) – Play Sanchez as 4th mid and Bellerin as 3rd defender.

A seems the safest, but I am just worried that two of my rivals who are not far behind me are bringing in Carroll and will most likely captain him.

On a 26 point lead. Rival has no chips and a Pelle, Kun, Kane front line atm... I have Deeney, Kun, Kane.

Question is: I was wanting to do Alli/Kane to Hazard/Defoe for a -4. Shoud I?

Concerned because it's a risk -- and if we have similar cover with a similar front line, it's hard for me to get passed. So losing Kane is tough here. What say you, the community?

It's fantastic to see him like this again the best player in the league at his very best imo.. Really hope he stays there

I was starting to say as a self-interested Arsenal fan that I'd like him to go to PSG in the summer but then they'd probably get Pogba with the silly money they make on him. Really looking forward to him at the Euros though.

Yeah joy to watch in full flight.. rumours are that he wants to stay on at Chelsea now but like i said just talk.. Reckon we see a price drop next season Balders?

Maybe 10.5 or 10.0 but nothing big, FPL towers always protectively price big name players and given his FPL history prior to this season if they put him at say 8.5m everyone and their casual boss would own him.

Evening. Missed all the action and just watched brief highlights.

Am I really supposed to ignore a rampant Sturridge in front of a DGW? Just can't wrap my head around this one...

I'm considering Kun > Studge for a hit

He'll only play Wednesday IMO. That said there are worse sgw options to own. Also I hope you're ready to ship immediately as he wont play gw38 with the Europa final just 3 days later.

It's frustrating, but I just don't think it's worth it for only 1 out of the 3 remaining games likely.

Everything you guys are saying makes perfect sense. It is a bit sickening actually because he is exactly what one wants in this situation.

Alright, so long story short, I don't want Defoe. I don't want my fantasy season dependent upon the one player most likely to sink Newcastle.

So, to make me feel better about my blinkered thinking, somebody sell an alternative like Deeney to me. Did anyone watch their game against Villa?

If you don't fancy Defoe then do Mbokani or Costs as a punt

Cheers, Mbokani a punt too far I think aha. Costa is interesting, though I think I prefer Hazard, which makes Costa unattainable.

If it's not Defoe it's Carroll surely ?

Fortunately I've got him already. Current frontline is Kun - Kane - Carroll, and I'm selling one to afford Hazard in for Coutinho. Options include Martial, Deeney, Defoe ( 😐 ), possibly even Vardy.

I can't help but think that Defoe is the best option, but I'm really struggling.

      Carroll.

As above, got him. The ideal move is Haz in for Coutinho, which requires a downgrade of either Kun or Kane.

Should I bite the bullet and just go Defoe?

          Costa and Hazard? Lethal differential.

I own Defoe and think he is a great call, just trying to think outside the box here.

Lethal differential indeed! Not sure I can stomach a Chelsea triple-up (got Fabregas) 😛 I could theoretically go Kun -> Costa, Coutinho -> Haz though, ....hmmm.

            Cheers for the thoughts!

      Martial?

He was my first thought, and possibly my preference. LvG's comments are a tad worrying, and I've been burnt so many times by rest/rotation in the past few weeks!

          Rooney?

I'll probably be banned from FFS for just making the suggestion!

😀 Roonpig strikes again. I didn't think I'd ever get him back in again after I sold him at the start of the season.

Worth taking a -8 hit for Coutinho > Noble or Hazard I'm chasing so have to be careful how many hits I take in my ML?
