The new Premier League champions return to home soil for their coronation as Everton pay a visit. The Foxes are unbeaten in 10 match-ups but might lack a psychological edge following their title triumph, while the Toffees snapped a seven-match winless streak with a victory over Bournemouth last Gameweek.

Leicester’s attack has excelled across their previous four outings, recording nine goals and two more big chances (12) than any other team. Furthermore, only two clubs (Manchester City and Southampton) boast a superior shot-conversion rate (13.1%) in home clashes than the Foxes. Although Claudio Ranieri’s squad have conceded just three goals in four fixtures, the fact they’ve allowed the sixth-most shots inside the box (35) offers some hope to the visitors.

The Toffees are in desperate need of an attacking spark, given that they placed joint-fourth-bottom for goals (three), bottom for attempts (31), bottom for shots inside the box (14) and joint-second-bottom for big chances (two) across their previous quartet of encounters. It’s worth noting, however, that Everton chart joint-third for big chances (39) and joint-fourth-bottom for goals conceded in road ties (19), illuminating their decent away form.

So it looks like triple captain Week 34 was the best option by far.
It seemed obvious at the time so not sure why so many went for that.

48 points this week so far with a further 18 players. So far its shaping up that I'll be inside the top 50 OR.

    1. Fred54
      10 years, 6 months ago

Mark been going on about this forever. Practically sulking in the post DGW34 Scoutcast....the worse part of this is that it adds fuel to his fire.

      1. ChameLeon Best
        10 years, 6 months ago

Think a few too many got excited at the prospect of 15 DGW players. But it crippled the side for the rest of the season and Sanchez/Kun practically had bankers in terms of triple captaincy.

My first thought at seeing the triple captain chip at the start of the season was to place it on Kun for a DGW. Worked to that from week 26 trying to get 11 players out who played twice.

    2. HVT

Tbf Swansea at home is/was a good fixture for a team in decent form and scoring goals-we have to base our decisions on logic and statistics it's just they went askew today.

      1. ChameLeon Best
        10 years, 6 months ago

Personally disagree on the stat front. West ham where scoring way above and conceding way less than expectation.

They where prone to return to the mean.
