Fantasy managers are treated to four fixtures this evening as the Euro 2016 action picks up pace.

First up at 5pm, Germany take on Northern Ireland and Poland go head-to-head with Ukraine in Group C.

The World Champions produced more attempts than any team over the qualifying period but have toiled for a cutting edge so far and stuttered to a goalless draw with Poland last time out.

Only two sides managed more shots on target over the first two rounds of fixtures than Joachim Lowe’s men, though, which suggests Michael McGovern will be kept busy between the sticks.

Certainly, Michael O’Neill’s men won’t make it easy for their opponents. Northern Ireland have conceded just once in their last five matches and swept aside Ukraine 2-0 last time out to hand themselves a chance of progressing.

Poland arrived in Euro 2016 as top scorers in qualifying but, like Germany, have flattered to deceive. Adam Nawalka’s side have mustered a mere four attempts on target over their pair of matches and found the net on just one occasion.

With a win and draw apiece, Germany lead the Poles on goal difference alone, though neither will be too concerned with a second-place finish here, as the runners-up in Group C would then face Switzerland for a spot in the quarter-finals.

I have made subs this game week but have Perisic on bench. I have Draxler in my first team.
Will I get this as an auto sub - or as soon as I do any manual transfers in a game week (I.e yesterday) does that automatically mean there will be no default system based subs made on the final gameeek points calculations ?

My defence in 3 group stage games:

    Dier: 2 CS + 1 goal
    Rami: 2 CS + 1 assist
    Hector: 3 CS + 1 assist
    Boateng: 3 CS
    Alba: 2 CS + 1 assist + 1 game playing
    GK: 3 CS / 3 games

Pity my attackers not scoring well though

24 teams divided into 8 groups, 2 teams qualify from each group for the R/16

Only problem is that it reduces the number of group matches from 36 to 24.... It at least beats this 3rd place nonsense....

Logistics are terrible. Team A and B play. Team C has to wait until they recover etc.

Won't help with getting form if you have a big rest between Game 1 and Game 3 of the group. Being Team C is rusty compared to A/B.

Just saw someone suggest Top 12 qualify with 4 best 1st place teams getting a bye into the QF. Anything to make the matches more important.

The best 3rd place qualifiers to round of 16.

Or to be honest the tournament so far it's been a bit of a non event for me.

would take something exceptional now. Even if Czech's win they are still ahead of Albania, so then they just need Sweden and Ireland to fail to win

        Not too exceptional.

Czech winning or Turkey winning with 4 goals
Sweden winning 1-0 from belgium OR ireland winning
Portugal getting at least a draw and a goal vs hungary

All well and good if someone looks at stats in isolation and not the actual This gives no measure of the quality of the chance created. In fact if anything it shows a lack of quality to finish chances.

England imo should count themselves lucky that they are still in the tournament thanks to Daniel Sturridge.

It also matters where those chances are from. And Italy has one match less played than England and Wales.

That said, England's shots for and against stats are very fine.

That mostly just illustrates how unreliable shots are as an indicator of the quality of opportunities:

      Wales - 6 big chances, 6 goals
      Italy - 4 big chances, 3 goals
      England - 4 big chances, 3 goals

    Milik (C) 10 pts

    Stick or twist ?

    Options are :
    A)Rui Particio
    B)Raphael Guerrero
    C)Nani
    D)Giaccherini

Will (B) and (D) play ? or they 'll be rotated ? heared alot of rumors about Raphael being injured

Should i play him or not ? i'm going to sub out howedes for (B) or (D) as it shouldn't be a big deal (1 pt)

    what should i do ?

Candreva for Italy is out due to injury and six other Italians are on yellow cards, Giaccherini is not on a yellow, he's fully fit, plays in midfield (although down as a def, but more chance of assists/goals), so I'd see more of a reason for him to play than Raphael who is carrying a minor injury
