Dugout Discussion – Hungary vs Belgium

Sundayโ€™s third and final fixture sees Hungary and Belgium do battle for the right to take on Wales in the Euro 2016 quarter-finals.

Having bounced back from an opening loss to Italy with wins over Republic of Ireland and Sweden, Belgium are regarded as favourites for the top half of the draw.

The Red Devils were placed fourth for shots on goal over the group stages, though found the net on just four occasions with big-hitters Kevin de Bruyne and Eden Hazard yet to open their accounts in the tournament.

Bernd Storckโ€™s side will be no pushovers, though. Despite firing far less attempts than their opponents across the first three matches (35 to 56), Hungary registered just one attempt on target fewer, firing 16 to Belgiumโ€™s 17.

Joint-top scorers with Wales for the group stages, their three-goal salvo against Portugal last time out certainly suggests this eveningโ€™s match could be tighter than many expect.

I prefer Kevin tbh, more complete and consistent player imo.

Indeed. He was poor last season apart from a few magic moments at the end. Ridiculous goal at Anfield sticks out most.
