The Gameweek rolls on with a showpiece fixture at the Emirates.

Arsene Wenger’s Arsenal host Liverpool in the tea-time encounter with a host of Fantasy talent on show.

On paper, this could be a tight and cagey affair but Arsenal’s injuries at the back may just prompt both sides to go on the offensive.

Certainly Jurgen Klopp has named an attacking line-up, spearheaded by Roberto Firmino and supported by new signing Sadio Mane and the guile of Philippe Coutinho and Adam Lallana.

That quartet with surely stretch the Gunners backline with Wenger forced to start with a pairing of Calum Chambers and new signing Rob Holding.

Wenger will look to Alexis Sanchez and Theo Walcott to provide a response at the other end, with Aaron Ramsey set to start in the number ten role in the absence of Mesut Ozil.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

    Lucky that goal went in..

    Firmino -> Origi was/is a decent possibility. AW's counteracted the false nine really effectively.

      how has he counteracted the false 9? midfield three not taking risks, playing safe passes to CBs and mignolet when there is space in midfield

        Holding Chambers
        Elney Coquelin

        No space.

      Naaaa. And I'd like to make three moves, too. Current thinking is that I'll make two moves this gw, to try and make some money, but I think you need to see the trains gain more certain momentum on the price and form side before WC.

    Still not finding the appeal in Coutinho just because he's the cheapest of the 3

    Has looked poor out wide and won't score belters like that every week.

    Everyone overlooking Klavans part in the first goal, he shouldn't have followed Ramsey behind and then he lets the ball between his legs. Poor defending!

      funny to see everyone so keen to bash Pool defence but Stones doesn't get a mention after yday' horror show (and every other time he makes a mistake)

        City defense is characterized as suspect constantly... Plus they didn't have Kompany, their anchor

            Yeah Stones was poor, but it was his first game in a new team. Probably hasn't even had a practice with them. Kompany will be able to direct him better

    Anyone considering selling Gray for Negredo look at the stats, Rondon by far the better option imo. Negredo mustered 1 shot

      It's been one game. I need to see atleast one more before I get rid of Gray. He's been terrific in pre-season.

      If it's based on stats surely Gray's stats in combination with Liverpool's defensive stats are enough of a reason to keep him?

      I don't think either are as attractive as Carroll with the supply he has behind him.

      Looking at the stats Gray > Rondon. Rondon had a lot of head shots, they are less likely to be converted in goals.

    ) Townsend --> Gaston
    B) Gray --> Negredo
    C) Keep FT

    I didn't get to watch the Boro game so I don't know if these guys looked like they will be essential. Same with Gray and Towns -- were they threatening, or total donkeys?
