Dugout Discussion – Arsenal vs Liverpool

The Gameweek rolls on with a showpiece fixture at the Emirates.

Arsene Wenger’s Arsenal host Liverpool in the tea-time encounter with a host of Fantasy talent on show.

On paper, this could be a tight and cagey affair but Arsenal’s injuries at the back may just prompt both sides to go on the offensive.

Certainly Jurgen Klopp has named an attacking line-up, spearheaded by Roberto Firmino and supported by new signing Sadio Mane and the guile of Philippe Coutinho and Adam Lallana.

That quartet with surely stretch the Gunners backline with Wenger forced to start with a pairing of Calum Chambers and new signing Rob Holding.

Wenger will look to Alexis Sanchez and Theo Walcott to provide a response at the other end, with Aaron Ramsey set to start in the number ten role in the absence of Mesut Ozil.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Those who paid attention in preseason would have seen Mane was Liverpool's best attacker.

Firmino had a great preseason and could've easily had a haul today. Patience.

He won't learn. He never does. Has to leave now. Playing Holding and Chambers against a top side. No excuse for that

    Phew!

That was a tense 90 mins with no Liverpool or Arsenal.

Took Fimino out for Mahrez on Friday night as well. I was fretting and how.

Not too much damage I think compared to FFS as no one had Coutinho.
