Dugout Discussion – Leicester vs Arsenal

Saturday evening comes to a conclusion at the King Power as champions Leicester go head-to-head with Arsenal.

Both sides are already playing catch-up after losing their opening matches of the season.

Claudio Ranieri welcomes back Robert Huth from suspension after conceding twice to Hull last weekend. The Foxes boss also opts to recall Shinji Okazaki and Marc Albrighton as Ahmed Musa and Demarai Gray drop to the bench. New signing Nampalys Mendy comes in for Andy King in the centre of the park.

Arsenal, meanwhile, bring in Santi Cazorla, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Granit Xhaka and Laurent Koscielny as they attempt to bounce back from Sunday’s home loss to Liverpool. Mesut Ozil and Olivier Giroud are deemed fit enough to take their places on the bench.

    Got a rules-question:
    If you make two transfers or more tonight (-4, -8 hits etc), but activate WC tomorrow, what happen then to those minus points?

    How does this look for a -4?

    Out: Oscar, Firmino, Vardy
    In: Hazard, Mahrez, Carroll

    Ideally I'd like to keep Vardy another week and bring Carroll in GW4, but if Vardy/Firmino drop or Hazard rises I won't be able to afford this. Is it worth taking the risk to do these early?

    Also, are there better 6.5 FWD or 9.5 MID picks for GW3 to GW8 roughly? I could do Mahrez -> Payet GW4 for free.

      Nolito seems to be more direct and offer more goal threat, while Sterling (at least so far) appears to be slightly more nailed on. I am eyeing Nolito myself.

              In which case -- if you are trying to do well overall -- you should not take risks with the captaincy. Always captain Aguero or Ibrahimovic. Will do wonders.

    Need help please

    Valdez (Pickford)

    Stones/Williams (Everton)/ Amat/ (Friend, Kingsley)

    Hazard/Firmino/Mahrez/Townsend/(Fletcher)

    KUN/Vardy/Grey

    What do I improve first? Defense as I have double ups thinking I was going to get some clean sheets early. Or mIdfield as Firmino, Townsend have done nothing. Or change Vardy but he has 3 good fixtures coming up

    Any thoughts will please ease my mind....I am not against Wildcarding as I only have 106 points with my GK to play from the first two weeks

      I've got Lamela and happy to hold for now. He didn't shoot much today but created a handful of chances. Townsend seems to be back to his old self -- wayward shooting from 30 yards out. Not for me.
