Sunderland have confirmed they are appealing to FIFA to see if they can still progress with the move for Domingues because all of their paperwork was in place. The hold-up was at the Boavista end but the club still await that decision. If that doesn't go through, then they could apply to the Premier League for emergency loan permission to sign a goalkeeper or look to free agents, who can be signed outside of the window.

i think its too early in the season to read to much into stats. everyone was in love with Rondon after the GW brom had most shots in the box. the stat I'm interested in is bonus points in 2/3 games for negredo and bonus points in Nil for players like costa

He's scored 1 and assisted 2 which on the face of it is great. However, those results have come from 2 shots (1 on target) and 4 chances created in 3 games. Basically he's been incredibly lucky to get those points.

I think he's still worth a punt with 3 great home fixtures coming up before GW10 - at worst owners will gain a bit of TV. I'm on board.
I just think that he could just as easily have 0 goals and 0 assists from the same performances and he'd have been sold in droves.
Of course, past performance is no guarantee of future returns, etc, etc. so he might start to produce better figures and I'll look silly but I'm steering clear for now.

Any idea?I'm looking at Trollkaku for Kun too. Has the fixtures and less we forget, he has racked up the points in 3/4 seasons past. Costa is a no no and Defoe too lighweight playing for a team with several issues all over.

Could be a very good choice, BB. I prefer to see how he settles in first. Certainly one to monitor closely. 🙂

I'm tossing up betwixt Benteke and Gray. Benteke is far too punty for my liking although he will get the service so may be worth a chance. I like the fact Gray will be involved in 50% of BUR's goals so he is worth a place too.

The Wildcard chip can be used twice a season, once in the first half of the season (before 31 Dec 14:00) and once in the second half of the season.
Wildcards are played on the transfers page but aren't active until you have confirmed the transfers.

Is anybody else leaning towards not including either Ozil or Sanchez in their teams for this weekend?
Arsenal have only won 2 and scored 6 goals in their past 6 games against Southampton. On top of that, despite only having 2pts after 3 games, Southampton haven't been conceding a lot of shots on target, the Man United game being the only possible exception.
Debating over taking a 4 point hit for one of the two but feel that this weekend may not be the time to do it, while it also leaves more time to examine what impact the introduction of Xhaka and Perez, and the return of Giroud and Cazorla does to the returns of messrs. Ozil and Sanchez.its about more than one game with both them
plus spton look toothless at the moment so arsenal could easily dominate or they could also be their usual let downs

Walker will get into Spurs yearly fullback rotation with Trippier as soon as CL starts, so 5.6
seems quite excessive for him.
Pieters is not for me with Butland out another 10 weeks. Don't care what his fixtures are.
Plus, he might drop in value this week.
I like Francis as a player, but you can do better fantasy-wise.
Evans (WBA) at 4.5 is my suggestion, and Williams (EVE) at 5.0.
There are a number of other 4.5 defenders that beat Pieters and Francis for me --
