Moreover, Spurs have mids in abundance and I think all will get rotated.
Lamela maybe looks safe for the immediate but long term it's going to get shaken up. Not to mention I think points will be spread between their mids this season.cheers mate for the input. lamela is a short term punt btw.

Hard luck syd. Football is frustrating to gamble on. A team can dominate and end up drawing or perform poorly and win against the run of play. Sports with higher scoring systems tend to reward the better team such as basketball or rugby where the better team usually wins.

Is anyone actually considering just gutting out the 2 weeks Aguero is out, leaving him on your bench, playing your 5 mids or going 4-4-2 and not bothering with wildcards and how to get Kun back in 2 weeks time?
I'm not really overly keen on wasting a WC on taking out a player only to be having to get him back again 2 weeks later.
If he was out indefinitely injured then it would be worth it but 2 GW's really isn't long and some of the strikers we're thinking of replacing him with may only score 4 pts in that time.
I just feel more inclined to leave him in my team and rely on the rest of my players to pick up the slack for 2 weeks rather than piddle about with WC, hoping I don't need to make a transfer in GW5, then having to take out the big hitter I replaced Aguero with in GW6.

In weigh that up against how much it's worth to me to keep my wildcard.
Also, most people are WC and getting in Sanchez and planning to get Kun back 2 weeks later. But you're getting Sanchez because you think he's going to score points in the next few GW's. If he does, are you really going to be happy to get rid of him, which you'll need to do to fund getting Kun back.

Makes no sense to me, both moves are free and you make/save money by selling. Why would you save a transfer by benching a 13m player? In case one of your 6.5m players gets banned or injured? ;-?
Saving your wildcard, not one transfer. Lots of people are using WC's to get Aguero out. I genuinely think it's a waste of the chip, myself, for a 2 week rental.
Not popular to bench him but you make a valid point. If your bench is reasonably strong then benching him is an option. Probably means one has a light defence though...

I agree. If he does drop in value, he'll make it back once every body buys him back. You're committing 2 of your next 3 weeks transfers just on Aguero by doing this.

One of them is against a strong defence (Man Utd), then City play Borussia in the Champions League before facing Bournemouth 4 days later. Would Kun play 90 mins against the Cherries anyway, even if he wasn't banned?

No, look at them separately. The advice that getting Costa if you have Hazard is bad is utter nonsense. Look at them individually. For example I think Costa will easily outscore Lukaku but I am not just going to get Lukaju because I have Hazard, am i?
