Özil will be better in the long run. Sanchez' run as a striker is over now with Giroud back. So guess Sanchez will be back to inconistent deliceries. Özil is far more consistent.

Didn't own Gray and had 4-5 critical moves to make so thought it as good a time as any. Having said that I'm still quite unsure about my desired 15 and have flip flopped between 20 different iterations ... which suggests that maybe it could have waited. I worry about Liverpool mids hitting their straps, City assets and getting Aguero back ... but everyone is in the same boat to ho hum!

Sorta but not for those reasons. I'd just like to see a few of the options I'm interested in play a bit first. Wildcarding on Aguero's return would have allowed me to do that.

Not really, no. I never owned Gray but had several issues to fix, and now I have a much more balanced team.

Why are people getting off Redmond btwExactly, people spend a month bashing the template into place. Redmond was picked, and scored yet all of a sudden he is being forgotten about.
I would be more than happy if he could keep up with a goal once every Three matchesI think it's more a lack of faith in Southampton on a whole than it is anything to do with how Redmond has performed. Easy to ditch on a WC when you see Arsenal, West Ham and Leicester away in his next 4.
I am keeping him for a while , just because I don't want to take a hit and don't see any other great options in the price range.

I like D. But that's because I'm in the camp of not seeing much separating Sanchez and Ozil long-term, not seeing much separating Mane and Firmino long-term, and thinking Benteke is miles ahead of Gray and Hernandez.

My current strike force combo is very template: Lukaku, Ibra and Benteke. Should I change that to Lukaku,Ibra and Gray and use that 0.9 to upgrade my mf and defence or even go Gray, Benteke and Ibra? I have a feeling that I will end up picking the wrong strikers and these 2 gameweeks will became the make or break moment...

I'm close to pulling the trigger. Just getting hesitant with thoughts of a cheeky Aguero and Jack Rodwell out for Kane and Snodgrass.
I like snonddy but Kane looks bang out of form and very fatigued tbh.... although u can wait until Sanchez returns from international break in case he picks an unfortunate injury as his price is already up to 11.0 so don't matter much anyway too.......

Yep. I've had him for a period of time in both of the last two seasons. He's not really the kind to put up 17 points in a GW, like an Aguero or Sanchez are capable of doing more than once. But, he seems to be finding that form from two seasons ago, and that means some pretty damn good consistency at a fair price.

Don't WC unless you are at least 80% knows how to bring Aguero with just 1 or 2 FT. WC seems to be a good tool to bring Aguero back.

lol explain exactly as to how sanchez will play 'deeper'. Your facts are based on theory and nothing else. If anything, Sanchez is more deadly cutting in from wide. It sounds like you simply can't afford Sanchez, so instead resort to regurgitating the same old info that people say when can't afford him.
Ibra Gray benteke..too much of a punt for a strikerforce? Is Lukaku a better option than Benteke or even Andre Gray at the moment? Not a big fan of Bony. Costa is simply a card magnet and no bonus points.
Costa scored 2 last night .... so for 2 weeks is better option than ur strikers

I think I've had just about every possible Aguero plan. And I'm just as close to reaching a conclusion as I was when I began. It's doing my head in to some degree, and the international break is only furthering the muddying of the water.
This is an ideal situation to WC. 2 weeks on non stop high octane punts..then your wife is back and you kick out the hoes

*NOT an FPL thing*
The draft is a "slow draft" on Fantrax. There are 9 hours on the draft clock per pick. The idea is not for people to use the whole clock but to allow for global participation and allow people to sleep and work without stressing about being in the draft room every waking minute. It takes about 10 days during the 2nd international break, starts October 2.
11 players are drafted by each team. You start 7 players with a bench of 4 each week.
1 GK
2 to 4 defenders
1 to 3 mids
0 to 2 strikers
You have to stay on top of "free agent" players and make claims and drops (of current players) to keep your squad fresh, deal with injuries, etc.
You also can trade players with other managers in the league.
It is a 20 team division. Top 3 or more teams are promoted to division 2 (as we have some drop outs from the upper divisions, more managers from division 3 get promoted).
Some people like the draft format and some hate it.
A primary rule of the league is that your team name needs to be injury related to go with the league name theme (Knocks & Niggles) and then put your FFS name in parentheses so folks know who you are. So examples are:
Balotelli's Grass Allergy (Milanista)
Injured For Eva (Balders)
No Return Date (HeelsOverHead)
Strained Groins (Pundit of Punts)
Torn ACL (TM245)
If you're interested, there are openings in our 3rd division. Each division is 20 teams and there are promotions/relegations.

Downgrade BainesYea may be downgrade Baines but I think I prefer Caz instead of Liverpool mid. The only Liverpool mid I want to take is Mane but he's too expensive. Caz is on for penalty and share corner and free kick.
Firmino's stats are rather impressive, tbh.
