After taking a look at the main goal threat from Fantasy Premier League defenders priced at 5.0 and under earlier in the week, we now turn our attentions to the centre of the park.
With the likes of Alexis Sanchez, Eden Hazard and Raheem Sterling high up on our shopping lists after bagging double-figure hauls in Gameweek 3, the need for value in midfield is vital.
This time around, then, we look at the leading contenders in the sub-8.0 bracket over the first three rounds of fixtures.
lollana not picked because there are better attacking options in Liverpool team or because there are better similar priced options?
Not nailed
early doors it was felt he would lose his place once sturridge or origi rocked up. now I'm not so sure....
He doesn't grab the headlines
Better attacking options in Liverpool.
WC gone last week. 3.5m ITB and 0 FT. Would you take any hits or hold?
Foster | Heaton
Shaw | Walker | Friend | (McAuley | Amat)
Hazard | Pogba | Mirralas | Redmond | (Capoue)
Ibra | Costa | Gray
Guess Pogba, Gray and Redmond are the main worries.
Don't worry about Redmond. He'll score!
That's what I am hoping this weekend 🙂
Mirrallas my other headache.
Save a transfer so that you can work on bringing do Pogba to Ozil for Arsenal's favourable run of games
Cheers for the comments both
Amy MacDonald - This is the Life
A toe tapping classic.
Love her 🙂 Great so g
Who stole my n?
Gog
*Ngog
Who is the best cover for the West Ham defence over their favourable run? Would you pick him over Stones?
Arthur Masuaku.
Would you pick him over Stones?
Reid
Isn't he injured atm?
A Baines+ Friend
B Williams+PVA
B
A. Pens worth a lot this season
In the process of the WC cant afford Antonio is Lanzini a good cheaper option?
Antonio has form on his side.
Ideally you would want to wait until he demonstrates any form. Antonio already has, no way of finding the funds?
Lanzini looked sharp when he got subbed on. Added a boost to West Ham when he came on. I think he's a good option and I think he'll be in my wildcard team.
A. Sanchez and Defoe with £1.4m ITB; or
B. Ozil and Costa?
B
A if you have Hazard
Ozil brace against Southampton. Heard it here first
Must be good odds
Not the last time
Brace of assists maybe but not of goals..
That would be nice, I'll settle for an assist though.
Rashford will start the derby score and become a nailed on starter for 6.8 and be 10 next season
Rashford vs Iheanacho..
Good duel! 😉
Please don't. You'd be surprised just how many City fans think Iheanacho is better than Martial & Rashford put together.
Lets not even go there Pug 🙂
Fans can have their say, but they know deep down that the 2 players are at the same level. The players around them and the coaching make the different but both would be great leading strikers in a couple of years imo
Do you think Rooney will be changed to a midfielder on FPL next season?
He will be in the MLS with any luck
Lol at last page kudos to LVG for putting him in. If Martial wasn't injured in the warm up nobody would have heard of him 😉
Circumstances dictated for sure but he still give him the chance.. the big flat faced boring barsteward
Real classy!
Eh? 😕
I've currently got Holgate, with Coleman back healthy is he no longer a starter?
surely.
Coleman is back.
Downloading some tracks on my phone. Need some suggestions. Good upbeat stuff that has you sparring with yourself as you walk to work.
Old or new.....
I wanna be your dog. The Stooges
I wanna be adored. The Stone Roses

Footloose then.
Rick Astley-Never gonna give you up
Nope 😛
Hah! Just messing with ya mate.
Hiphop fan by any chance? Old 90's early 00's hiphop makes me wanna pump up the volume in the car in the mornings until the kids start complaining from the back seat.
Your kids have better taste than you 😉
😆 no way mate! They like that singalong cräp!
Oh Jump Around, good call.....that's a beauty

Thoughts on this team?
Heaton Pickford
Valencia Baines Pieters Evans Amat
Hazard Sanchez Sterling Lanzini Leko
Ibra Lukaku Benteke
Looks good
Will jaku play?
Nah
Dunno, check press etc
Thanks
Any fellow Zaza punters?
Yep!
Best option:
A Tadic and Ozil (-4)
B Sanchez and Townsend (-4)
C Tadic and Townsend
B
I'm afraid to say it the no -4 is best because it is more likely to be better for your score
But if you like more risk then B
S Kuqi made me think. Wc or not?
Foster
Valencia Stones Mee
Haz Sanch Sterling Lamela
Gray Ibra Lolkaka
Jak Capoue Amat Holding
Especially the defence makes me worry.
I wouldn't. Look fine
Cheers BB.
Would appreciate your thoughts above 🙂
Not necessary to WC this week. Can WC next week or when Kun gets back.
That was the plan. when kun is back. Now I'm worried if I'll field three at the back.
Stones or Mee could surprise you. Wouldn't wildcard that team
I likes Mee from the go. Also a decent fixture. I know Stones will play but if Valencia doesn't its Amat in. That's where i'm afraid my rival wcers are going to strike past me.
I'm settled on this now with 0.3ITB, should I be happy?
Cech Pickford
Baines Valencia McCauley Pieters Amat
Sanchez Hazard Sterling Antonio Hojberg
Kane Benteke Defoe
No one is ever 100% happy until they see green triangles in their FPL league tables
l have 3 wba ,mcauley / fletcher / rondon ,all viable picks but such a crap team,#scratcheshead
If you want 3 Brom....get the defenders....Foster, Evans & McAuley. You'll get some points there definitely
Mahrez to Sanchez for a hit. Yay or nay?
No.. wait for next week
Heaton and McCauley or double up on wba def with foster n McCauley
Next best player long term to have if you can't afford Sterling? £7.2 to spend on a player (With the planning on returning Aguero in two GW's?)
Midfield is Antonio,Ozil,Hazard & Capoue.
lamela, looks their best player, difficult to see poch dropping him...
Yeah originally had him before my WC was activated I'll stick with him.

Redmond >> Sanchez worth a -4?
Yes
I did that and I slightly regret it but am sure long term I will forget... I hate to take hits
depends when you are WCing.
If you are going to WC GW6, do you feel Sanchez can repay it on top of an additional goal that Redmond could score?
If WCing later, then probably Arsenal run of games pay you back in the longer run.
Prob wc gw6 or 7 mate when agueronis back
I did it and will wc gw6
Don't want to captain Hazard or Sanchez.
Don't give a ....
Head or heart?
Heart
Play the odds...
If Rashford doesn't start the derby, the lad might as well be on the phone to Vitesse
Only Chelsea players go there, no?
Yep. United don't have a partnership with them.
A common feeder club for us in years gone by has been Royal Antwerp.
🙂
Will Sisokko push Lamela out of the starting XI at Spurs?
No.
No
Lot of talk about it happening this week, even if not long term as Lamela late back from international duty.
Mane or Sterling?
Mane.
I am pondering that myself.. If not taking price into consideration, i like mane for the next to games. Over the season, toss up i guess.
Cheers guys, think I am going to go Mane.
Have 1 free transfer left, might pull the trigger.
Guys, suggestions with 2 FT & 0.5m itb?
Heaton
Shaw / Williams / Walker
Hazard / Redmond / Barkley / Alli / Ramirez
Aguero / Ibra
(Jaku / Friend / Diamonde / Amat)
A) Aguero & Alli -> Lukaku & Sanchez
B) Aguero, Alli & Redmond -> Lukaku, Sanchez & Antonio (-4)
B honestly
A Ozil+Antonio
B Sanchez+ Redmond/Lanzini
A
