After taking a look at defenders priced 5.0 and under and midfielders costing no more than 8.0, our batch of members articles now focuses on the men up front.

With the Fantasy Premier League market in overdrive due to Sergio Aguero’s three-match ban, we cast an eye over the strikers worth considering in the sub 8.0 category.

He's a decent pick for sure. Conversion rate is normally low so will need a few chances to score.

Nice to see Rondon shaping up well. He'll prob just get the one more week for me unless he produces. Still just feels so wrong having a Brom attacker.

Williams is a great pick but you will always have the voice in your head, pleading with you to find 0.5 somewhere, anywhere, to upgrade to Baines. Penalties will do that to a man.

shameless repost, because of new post 🙂

Well, after remaining adamant with myself i would stick wit ha 4-3-3, some opinions on it have been mixed, so i come up with two teams.
Which one do you fine people prefer?

    Team 1: 3-4-3

    Foster
    Masuaku - Valencia - Baines
    Sterling - Hazard - Sanchez - Antonio
    Benteke - Defoe - Ibra
    ______________________________
    Pickford, Evans, Capoue, Amat

    Team 2: 4-3-3

    Foster
    PVA - Bellerin - Baines - Valencia
    Hazard - Sanchez - Antonio
    Benteke - Lukaku - Ibra
    ___________________________
    Pickford, Capoue, Hojbjerg, Amat

This will make or break my decision so any opinions on which team is preferred i will be inclined go with. Thanks gents.

I like team 1 better as it has Sterling for GW5 and it's 3-4-3.

4-3-3 is fine on paper with attacking defenders but it's just as likely to get get you only 1 CS per GW, same as a 3-4-3.

If that happens 3 out of 4 GWs (could easily) then everyone with a 4th midfielder will have a fair chance of outscoring you.

Hi RCA, cheers for your feedback, i think i have to agree, was on this 4-3-3 for a week, but i have to be realistic i guess, and the points out make only back that up. Will likely be going 3-4-3 then.

As the international break has dragged on, I'm considering Antonio more and more.

I'm now looking at Aguero, Capoue -> Lukaku, Antonio (2FTs). It will bank the Capoue 0.1 profit and allows me to play Ramirez this week and bench Redmond. Leaves me 2.1m ITB.

GW4 ; Hazard (swa), Firmino (LEI), Antonio (WAT), Ramirez (CPL), Ibra (MCI), Lukaku (sun), Costa (swa) bench Redmond (ars)

Then, GW5, Firmino -> Ozil, allowing me to play Redmond (SWA) and bench Ramirez (eve)

    Then a GW6 wildcard.

Comments on the plan please 🙂

    1. Worzel Gummidge

    BULLET EDER
Choosing Sanchez over Ozil I can understand. He's explosive, a goalscorer and captain material.

However, I think many people are overlooking Cazorla to select Ozil which I find more difficult to understand. The saving is 1.9, more than the 1.5 between Ozil and Sanchez.

They play similar roles in the Arsenal side, admittedly Ozil plays further forward and is previously the king of assists, but with Cazorla seemingly on corners, free-kicks and penalties this season, I believe that more than makes up for his deeper position.

He's historically a very effective fantasy league player, and with no international duty, I think he'll be more nailed than people think, especially against the lesser sides where there is no need for Wenger to choose Xhaka and one of Coquelin or Elneny.

Wenger adores playmakers and will play as many as he can whenever possible, hence Ramsey on the right when fit.

    Thoughts?

Sorry for the repost but it was lost on the previous article.

Quite a few players quoted in single figures in the "To Score Two Goals Or More" market this weekend. Diego is the 6/1 favourite closely followed by Harry at 7/1. Roberto, Alexis and Zlatan are right behind them sniffing their overpaid arses at 8/1 while Andre at 9/1 just separates himself from the double digit masses. On the outside looking in at this sexy sextet is The Garden of Eden at a whopping 10/1.

Looks like the bookies wouldn't have Mr Hazard at the top of their Captains Poll for GW4.

He should but waiting for pressers. Confident him and Tekkers up front.

both good options. could be lamela as he's playing for a better team.

i might be wrong if tekkers find his goalscoring rythm soon

Their chairman said on TalkSport today that the idea is to change the style and score more goals. (Was asked about Benteke and Remy)

Cheers, but if i did that then i have to downgrade ozil to a 5.5-6m mid to get aguero back in so i would be back to square one with no ars mid then.

Does my defence look ok. Any risks ? except the wat def as he is long term as they have good fixs coming up !

    New article repost

May have just found my Aguero plan, but comes with a hit.

    Current:
    Heaton, Foster
    Shaw, Williams, Valencia, McAuley, Amat
    Hazard, Sanchez, Sterling, Antonio, Capoue
    Ibra, Benteke, Stuani

    1.3 ITB

    GW6: Shaw, Sanchez &
    Benteke > 4.5, Cazorla & Aguero

I had the exact same mids and forwards earlier until pickford became a risk. So i had to downgrade lamela to puncheon and was then able to upgrade pickford to heaton and amat to a 4.5 wat def.

Whats your defence like atm ?
