After taking a look at defenders priced 5.0 and under and midfielders costing no more than 8.0, our batch of members articles now focuses on the men up front.
With the Fantasy Premier League market in overdrive due to Sergio Aguero’s three-match ban, we cast an eye over the strikers worth considering in the sub 8.0 category.
2FTs, 0.0m in the bank... Would you wildcard this lot?
Perhaps do Alli + Aguero -> Sanchez + Costa/Lukaku on a free?
Foster Jaku
Shaw Stones Friend Mee Amat
Hazard Firmino Alli Ramirez Capoue
Aguero Ibra Gray
I would personally. I'd keep Shaw, Haz, (maybe Firmino) & Ibra and then plan to get Kun back in with 2 FTs!
No need to WC. As regards the transfers - not a fan of Costa - no baps and a card magnet but then Lukaku not been in great form but goals last night for Belgium might trigger that. Go with your gut.
Ben Davies will play in place of Rose right?
Yes
Cheers!
Benteke or Defoe?
Tekkers and Bony > Defoe for me.
D
Either one. Both are capable, and have, mixed it up with the premium picks.
Defoe is second highest scoring fwd in calendar year 2016 btw.
Tekkers
Murray needs to break.
Some serious returns incoming
Nice little 4-1 win for my junior footy lads tonight.
Nice work.
Only conceded goal was the dreaded bobble up over the keepers shoulder...ala Tim Flowers.
Not much you can do about that.
How much would the 1st team beat the team you played tonight?
Not sure. We played much, much better tonight than our first game. I'm not sure we'd have lost that playing like we did tonight.
RMWCT
Foster Jakupovic
Shaw Williams Morgan Evans Amat
Hazard Sanchez Sterling Redmond Capoue
Ibrahimovic Lukaku Negredo
have 0.1m ITB. An suggestion regarding the team would be very much appreciated.
Which big hitter are you selling in gw6 to fund Aguero back in ?
A) Ibra
B) Sanchez/Ozil
C) Hazard
D) Any other ?
Out of form one
What if all are in form. my thinking is Cazorla can be a viable route to arsenal attack
With Chelsea and united we yet to have a cheap option. Hence selling Sanchez/Ozil could be the way to go
Thoughts?
Not sure, haven't thought about it yet. All I am hoping for is to approach gw6 with 2fts
Well I have to plan ahead after playing WC 😉
Mane or Ibra most likely.
A, preferably. Would depend on two of Benteke/Bony/Lukaku/whoever being on form though.
If one of the other big hitters are doing worse though then they'll have to go.
Sterling & Lukaku I think?
Please choose one:
A. Costa / Rooney / Vardy
B. Ibra / Vardy / Iheanacho (for two week punt)
??
What a match!
So is the consensus Benteke or Lukaku? Lukaku means a double up in my Everton attack.
Have both. Lukaku if i were to chose (double up could work. if it doesnt then never touch an everton attacker again 😉 )
I quite like the top player in that table, but he just doesn't have the FPL pedigree of Tekkers...such as it is.
Murray going home.
Wouldn't have beaten Djokovic anyway
Where is that little japanese chap in the ranking he looks immense
Thanks mate
Rondon?
Whats up big dog? Just membered up, cant see article, does it take 24 hours or something?

🙁
As non-owners, which one player are we most worried about going without this weekend? Who'll do the most damage to OR?
Not worried but at the same time I'm not happy that I'm going without Lukaku.
Ibra
Rooney to the rescue 😉
Assited by pogba 😎
Coutinho/Negredo
Adam Lallana
Ibra I guess
damn being a united fan how are you holding ?
being a united fan myself didnt have the courage not to go without after his brace against soton
I'm on WC and currently without him haha. Truth is I really enjoyed his goals v Saints, despite now owning him 🙂 Love the man but not in my team atm.
guess fantasy has taken over me huh was a bitter sweet moment for me 😉
not*
Baines
Alexis.
Not many. Not bothered about OR so just some of the players my rivals have.
Liverpool mid and Costa
Sanchez I think... then Costa & Baines.
probably lukaku, cos its an obvious one.
Murray
Glad the Pickford news has come out now and not Saturday afternoon, that could have been disastrous on a WC!
What pickford News?
Sunderland signing a new keeper
Shaw (bought at 5.5) -------> Valencia
On WC, worth it?
Heaton
Evans Walker Williams
Hazard Sanchez Townsend Bolasie
Negredo Kane Ibrahimovic
(Pickford, Shaw, Capoue, Amat)
Hows it look?
Good to go?
Different . Yeap good to go .
Lamela to Antonio for a hit worth it?
Nope
I wouldn't
nahh lamela good chance of points if he starts.
your bench is decent ?
Not particularly - Maloney, Kone and Amat!
Did Rondon play/score/assist during this int break ?
yeap assist against argentina
Crikey...he's got some decent returns against some good teams of late over there.
is he in your team ? considered him but westbrom playing style puts him off. cant see too many goals
Yeah. Only because Tekkers wasn't a pick though from the off. I piggin hate WBA tbh.
Re Moyes saying he needs a back-up keeper, didn't he try to get Hart?
Wages probably an issue.
Point being, just because he has bought a keeper, it doesn't mean he is back up 😉
*sells Pickford* 😆
I'm sure he wouldn't have mind a keeper or a backup, need 2 keepers though.
primary keeper*
Not sure who'll be ahead between Pickford and this new lad since I have no clue who or how good he is.
I've found the article I was on about. This is the quote from it
Moyes said: “We have an injury to Vito Mannone, we want to give Jordan Pickford a chance to show what he can do, but we will definitely have to bring in cover or someone who can challenge Jordan.”
http://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/sunderland-transfers-david-moyes-insists-11831395
Cheers, so assumption that Mika is cover could be way off the mark
Not according to the quote above. Fair assumption.
"..but we will definitely have to bring in cover or someone who can challenge Jordan.”
I read the quote as it says cover or to challenge Pickford. Why would he challenge Pickford unless he is planning on starting Pickford. As clear as day for me
Confirmed when he says he wants to give Pickford a chance.
Could be. Although he does say we want to give Pickford a chance to show what he can do which to me sounds like it's his place to lose.
Nice, didn't see that. Cheers.
The tinkering has got to stop soon...thoughts on this WC team?
Pickford / Mandanda
Baines / Masauka / Holebas / Evans / Kone
Hazard / Ozil / Antonio / Firmino / Capoue
Ibra / Lukaku / Benteke
Thoughts on Giroud punt?
Sterling over firmino?
Collins nailed?
Rondon decent shout vs benteke?
A) Firmino + PVA
B) Mane + 4.5
B with Kone but very tight
It is tight indeed, I really want both PVA and Mane.
PVA's stats..I love them. And Firmino is good at this football sport. A.
Thanks.

RMWCT
Heaton - Pickford
Valencia - Collins - McAuley - Evans - Amat
Sanchez - Hazard - Barkley - Antonio - Capoue
Ibrahimovic - Lukaku - Benteke
Looks great . Template wc team
Collins - MCauley - Evans - Heaton
That's not template is it?
Pretty good, I quite like it actually.
GKs and defence is a little light but I think you know that.
What makes you think Everton will start scoring all of a sudden, is it more hope?
Next two games
Giroud/ Barkley
Lukaku/ firmino
B
Some people are looking at Caz the wrong way. Agree He's not an alternative to Alexis or Ozil
But for 7.6 apart from Antonio i dont think there's better option with great fixtures who's on pens/setpeices
SOT hul CHE bur SWA MID sun (planning to double up with Alexis/Caz )
Ozil Nolito
Or
Sterling Sanchez
B
One of my rivals has a defence of
Shaw/McAuley/Holgate/Kingsley/Holding
And he wildcarded last week 😆
I'm not quite fully up to speed with this Sunderland keeper lark.
I assume that they've applied for special dispensation due to injuries and have been granted it as a back up keeper. Surely they wouldn't get special dispensation for a first choice keeper....that must surely be viewed that they fecked up when they had their chance in the transfer market...shouldn't it?
Or have I got it wrong?
I don't think it matters how good the keeper is because that can always be debatable. I believe the amount of keepers atcthe club with first team experience but don't quote me on that
I think they did have Mika signed but it kind of went wrong at the other end so they appealed to FIFA and won? Not sure they could have got a loan etc on the grounds that they have 2 keepers anyway? They could have got a free-agent I think, or when one of the keepers is crocked get a loan.
Ah, right...That makes more sense.
Although you could argue that clubs risking things very late in the window with transfers are gambling on everything running smoothly...which it might not.
Yeah, especially with keepers and current injuries etc. It's a position that can quickly deteriorate so I guess that's why they allow some room re. loans.
Who to take out for Sanchez?
A) Martial
B) Redmond
A
Play 2 of
a) Stones(mun)
b) Valencia(MCI)
c) Friend(CRY)
B C
A and B and expect for a bore 0-0
C will come if valencia doesnt feature
