Dugout Discussion – Liverpool vs Leicester

Saturdays’s events conclude at Anfield when Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool will host champions Leicester City.

The big teamsheet news is that Klopp has made the decision to keep Philippe Coutinho on the bench, despite flying him back early from international duty with Brazil. That allows Daniel Sturridge to earn a second start of the season, whilst Lucas has to come into to central defence with Dejan Lovren ruled out with an injury sustained in training.

Claudio Ranieri’s Leicester City are unchanged as they bid to build on their 2-1 win over Swansea City in Gameweek 3. There’s no place on the bench for new signing Islam Slimani.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

    Got to stay strong though, should save a transfer with Townsend or Redmond at home next week instead of getting Antonio/Payet/Mane in. Patience is a virtue they say..

    7.1 in the bank burning a hole in my pocket, but I think the two frees will be beneficial in a weeks time.

    So to all those struggling like myself, and yes money is a factor, but with European fixtures starting now, may be better to stand firm for now.

    Still gutted about United not showing up for the 1st half today. City played really well and could've won more. Silva and KdB were class. Anything fantasy wise to learn from this match? Personally, I am still unsure about the City defense.

      I would be gutted if we deserved more and just didn't get it but lets face it that wasn't the case City were brilliant..

      Right to be unsure.. after Bravo's shocker today he is gunna be a target for teams to exploit.. he could struggle as he isn't the biggest

        Yes, thinking in line with that. Foster has Spurs, Liverpool, City, Leicester from gw 8-11 so not really that interested in having him over that period unless I get a proper back up

    Lads, I have one question for you.
    Would you take a hit for Aguero > Lukaku and Ramirez > Antonio?
    Don't mind first -4 this season and I expect nice price rises for both of them. I know Lukaku hasn't played yet and could get injured but I'm gonna do it today or not at all. If everything goes wrong I'll just use my wildcard. Would appreciate any feedback.

      Guess that's really Capoue (MUN)/Ramirez (eve) vs. Lukaku (MID)/Antonio (wba). Then Aguero back in.
      I wouldn't bother with Aguero now, but maybe if the only way to fund anything and ready for risk of another -4 if something else comes up between now and then.
