A second Friday kick-off of the season and a huge cauldron of a fixture.

When Chelsea meet Liverpool at the Bridge, things are rarely dull. We can normally bank on goals aplenty and for Diego Costa to find a way to court controversy.

Being fair, he’s managed to achieve that every match so far, though he’s also managed to notch either a goal or an assist in each of his four starts – making it easy to forgive his little indiscretions. For now.

Antonio Conte will be looking for more of the same as he puts out a Chelsea line-up that includes a second debut for David Luiz. He steps into the back four with John Terry nursing an ankle injury.

Liverpool are forced into a change of their own – the late revelation that Roberto Firmino would miss out with a “minor” groin injury opens the way for his compatriot Philippe Coutinho to make a return.

Pains me as a Man U fan but that is an exceptional first half for Liverpool, work rate, press, incisive passing, everything.

To be fair his defence is giving him a lot to do on his own by playing so deep with little support from his other mids.

Can't just blame that Kante for this performance.

Gray falling means I need to make my planned transfers tonight.

        Gray to Aguero
        Sanchez to Snodgrass

With enough left for Barkley to Firmino.

Should I go for it even though tomorrow's games haven't been played yet? Will be priced out of it after tonight.

Its a question about value vs price. When you invest £10.3 in Hazard you expect him to deliver better than other midfilders. You coud easly pick a £9.0 midfilder that has better fixtures and invest £1.3 in a Arsenal/Spurs/Everton defender that has great fixtures. You want most value for your money in the next few games and right now Hazard is not worth it.

The one with the harder fixtures.

I think this season the pricing of players means a different tactic must be used, and that is to rotate premiums according to fixtures.

I think this season it's going to be harder to rely on perceived season keepers and watching price changes and fixtures is going to be key to scoring maximum points.

I think there's only two players in the league who will be fixture proof and none of them are mids, therefore my tactic will be to rotate mids according to fixtures.

It's not a fool proof tactic but I'm struggling to see another way this season so far.

What do you think of this first draft of a wildcard:

        Foster (Jaku)
        Valencia, Walker, Baines (Smith, Holebas)
        Coutinho, Antonio, Cazorla, Capoue (Zaha)
        Aguero, Ibrahimovic, Benteke

£0.8m ITB to upgrade to Mane if needed this week.

Interesting how both Lovren and Luiz are as dangerous in the opponents' box as they are in their own.

Hazard against Swansea never seemed to really get forward when Chelsea attacked, it's happening again today. Something to monitor, can see why owners (myself included) are concerned but to get rid so quickly is knee jerky at it's finest

We're different class just now. Only City look as good imo.

          Saying that its only HT.

Worry for me would be if Chelsea bring Costa on.

Get In, a win against Chelski feels good as beating Utd.

With this performance against Chelsea - we just know they will slip on the banana skin that is Hull at home .....
