Gameweek 8 comes to its conclusion this evening as Liverpool welcome Man United to Anfield.

Jurgen Klopp’s in-form outfit seek a fifth successive win in the top-flight and could even climb to the summit if they register a victory by a margin of four or more goals.

That’s perhaps unlikely yet, having netted nine times in two matches in front of their own supporters, the Reds will be in buoyant mood tonight.

The likes of Roberto Firmino, Philippe Coutinho and Sadio Mane will be keenly monitored by Fantasy managers as the Merseysiders prepare for a superb upcoming run of fixtures.

For United, the form of Zlatan Ibrahimovic is the main point of concern around these parts.

The big Swede has a single goal in five appearances and has already earned more transfers out than any other forward in the Gameweek.

Another blank and the exodus will surely pick up pace, given that Jose Mourinho then takes his side to former club Chelsea next Sunday – the Blues have chalked up back-to-back shut-outs since the switch to 3-4-3.

Is Allen really worth getting in for Capoue or Snodgrass?

He did a great job tonight, much as I hate to say it.
A point Vs a top four rival is a good result. Nullified a dangerous attack very well.

defensively resolute and organised. It was always going to be a stretch to win. Mourinho did the right thing by being pragmatic and not losing.

              How true.
Don't get this 'utd never played this way under fergie' myth.
At Anfield alone I've seen this in 05/06 (0-0) 06/07 (0-1 utd) 07/08 (0-1utd) off the top of my head.
Fergie is a legend for us but a lot of people have selective memories

Downgrading Ibra to Wilson allowing me to get any midfielder up to 9.4 for my dead 5th midfielder Carrick. Who to go for?
    A) Theo (already have Sanchez)
    B) Alli/Son
    C) Payet boy is class, maximises money and two good home games coming up.

      Wilson over Austin is criminal

That's silly. Both great options, Wilson having form and fixtures in the next 4 and Austin had form and plays for a better team

Wilson fixtures aren't that great and he only managed a goal and assist in 6 goal dubbing. Austin stats as good as any striker last 4

    2 more options occured:
    A) Antonio & Snodgrass > Walcott & Allen
    B) Antonio & Williams > Walcott & Cameron

Why would I sell Snodgrass before his tasty fixtures? There's just no reasonable way for me to get Walcott in atm 😀

True, but Snoddy does look like a player that can get returns.

People who are still putting Hull players need to watch one of their games. They dont have tasty fixtures. Any team playing them has the good fixture. If your starting a Hull player each week re do ur team

Before the start of the season, I said: Hull have less chances to stay up than Leicester had to win the league last season. Then they go on to beat Leicester GW1, get a couple of nice results and now Bournemouth tear them a new one.

My bet since the start of the season has been on the Liverpool attack with a double up of Firmino and Mane

Is it time to cut my losses and get Walcott in for Mane?

I know Pool fixtures are looking good but Mane just doesn't seem to be getting the chances in the same way that Theo is.

While at Southampton he was a focal point, in this team he seems to stick wide to create chances and space for team mates rather than them creating them for him.

Mane is a bit of a flat track bully so I'd be tempted to keep him. Saying that, I have both Mane and Walcott. Its a tough decision between which Id prefer. Probably Theo tbh.

        Yup.

I wasn't even that bought on the hype but after looking at his underlying stats I thought he was bound to score a couple.

The annoying thing is, is that I had Costa from GW1 and got rid of him GW3 because of the run Ibrah was on... and the fact he kept on picking up Yellows.

It's cost me around 1m team value total and a bucket load of points.

Makes me not want to play the game or at least make rash decisions at the start of the GW and then forget about it.

        Good ol' FPL.

Mourinho might have to start considering dropping him to play Rashford up front. Martial should be on the left.

Antonio looks like hes lost it offensively playing as a wing back, even though they meet Sundeland....
