Our first of this week’s members articles casts an eye over the increasing number of options in the mid-price midfield bracket.

After Joe Allen and Ilkay Gundogan were subject to major bandwagons in Gameweek 11, Hull’s Robert Snodgrass emerged from the bench to grab a goal and assist at home to Southampton, serving a reminder of his points potential ahead of some fine upcoming fixtures.

With the fitness of West Brom’s Nacer Chadli being keenly monitored prior to the weekend, we take a look at some of the key midfield protagonists priced at 6.5 and under in Fantasy Premier League.

    Only worry with Allen is the injury to Whelan combined with the form of Bojan.
    Could see Allen slip into a more defensive role

    don't know but with the way lallana is playing this season I really like his upcoming prospects in general and in fpl terms both

    thinking whether to take a hit for a defender and if so, which one...have 1.5m itb

    A: Amat >> McCauley or 5.6m def
    - removes a non starter
    - given my other defenders, need a defender with a good gw15 fixture which wba don't have

    B: smith >> alonso
    - plan was to bring in a Chelsea def in gw15 so might as well bring now
    - Bournemouth have tough fixtures so probably a good time to get rid
    - always a small chance that Amat will become a starter again
    - if not, will need to spend another transfer later to remove Amat

    Hi guys! How are the injury situation? Does the crowd think Sanchez, Hazard and costa will play? Just brought in the two latter, and a mass-bench will def hurt. Also got a suspension crisis in defense with smith, holebas and amat - but i dont think i will take hits to change a cheap defender.
