Henrikh Mkhitaryan is ruled out of United’s trip to Palace with a short-term ankle problem. Arsenal’s Shkodran Mustafi is sidelined due to a hamstring injury, whilst Emre Can is still doubtful for Liverpool’s trip to the Riverside.

Shkodran Mustafi is out for three weeks with the hamstring problem that forced him off during Arsenal’s weekend win over Stoke. Aaron Ramsey remains sidelined with a similar complaint for this evening’s trip to Everton.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan is ruled out of United’s trip to Palace with an ankle problem, though Jose Mourinho expects the Armenian international’s absence to be short term. Antonio Valencia is suspended after falling off the Suspension Tightrope with his fifth yellow of the season against Spurs.

Emre Can remains a doubt for Liverpool’s trip to Middlesbrough, though is expected to return in time for next week’s Merseyside derby with Everton at the latest. Jurgen Klopp remains uncertain as to whether Dejan Lovren is available, after the defender was forced off with cramp against West Ham on Sunday.

Junior Stanislas and Andrew Surman will remain unavailable for Bournemouth’s clash with Leicester, Eddie Howe conceded yesterday.

Craig Dawson is suspended for West Brom’s home clash with Swansea after earning a fifth caution of the season during Sunday’s loss at Chelsea.

Marc Muniesa and Glen Johnson are rated as slight doubts for Stoke’s clash with Southampton. Jon Walters and Ryan Shawcross are back in training, with the former more likely to be available.

Charlie Austin is set to stay on the sidelines for around three-to-four months with shoulder ligament damage sustained on Europa League duties last Thursday.

Younes Kaboul is back in training and will be assessed ahead of Watford’s trip to Man City. Valon Behrami is a slight doubt due to illness, though Roberto Pereyra is available, having served a one-match suspension.

All this and more has now been updated in the Team News section ahead of this evening’s deadline. Zaha got form not fixtures.
Phillips got lovely fixture this week, then two tough ones.
Snodgrass - not really a fan, but Hull's only source of points

That's it I guess. Or roll it and rebuild on weekend.

    My defence

    Alonso, Holebas, Amat, McAuley, Kingsley

I know Kingsley needs to go.

    Who am I missing?

Quick question Iheanacho or Zaha ?

In a quandry partly because I'm doing so badly this year

Do I play a man in form against his old club? Or will City look to avenge their defeat (and will Ihenacho even play)?

I'd play Zaha. Good form, motivation to play well, and Palace should trouble united. Nacho may not even start, and City a battling a little at the moment

I have the exact same decision to make. Did B yesterday.
Should probably wait a week on A, but I'm still undecided.

      I can't believe I still own Stones...

      1. nobwak
        • 10 Years
        9 years, 7 months ago

Yeah tell me about it. I'm guessing it's the same reason as me - had other fires to fight that have taken priority.

I feel like Pedro could get something against Sunderland just as easily as Eriksen against Hull, whereas Alonso clean sheet against Sunderland is much more likely than Stones against Watford IMO - so leaning towards A...

        1. Federico
          • 13 Years
          9 years, 7 months ago

Sounds sensible. I probably pulled the trigger a bit too soon, since I find defensive changes to be a bit boring.

If you believe in Pedro, I'd say stick for this week. Looking at two away fixtures vs two at home, Eriksen edged it for me.

    Costa Kane Anichebe

    B)

Think Eriksen will outscore him over next two. And with price drop want Coutinho when he's back. Sure Firmino will get some returns in the next 2, but not enough. So that's why I made the move.

Liverpool fan here, at the start of the season I would definitely agree.

However, as the games go by he seems to be less of a threat, especially with Coutinho out.. He did not look like the kind of player who will score week in, week out when I watched this weekend.

I'm keeping for this next game, if he's no where to be seen again he's out.

HELP please :/ Having back 3 issues this week.

McAuley (SWA), Fonte (stk), PVA (CHE)

    Bench: Holebas (mci) Collins (BUR)

    I've got 2.2m with 0 FT

    Options:

    1) Collins to Walker/Rose/Alonso (-4)
    3) Collins to Jones & Fonte to Walker/Rose/Alonso (-8)
    4) Fonte to Walker/Rose/Alonso (-4)

I really want Jones ASAP (after this week is fine) and also want Alonso for the long term, can't justify taking a 4 point hit for Jones this week but may well be worth the hit for one of Walker/Rose or possibly Alonso. I think over the next two weeks a Spurs defender could be a great option and could easily make up them 4 points but then I also have Eriksen and Kane already.

Then I also have the who to play predicament if I bring in Rose/Walker.

    Do I play

    A) PVA
    B) Capoue
    C) Fer

Currently playing Capoue over Fer but not expecting much, FPL, ay?

    Good to go?

    Foster
    Nyom - Kosc - Alonso
    Sanchez - Walcott - Eriksen - Allen
    Ibra (c) - Benteke - Costa

    Jaku - Redmond - Holebas - Amat

    0FT, 0.8 ITB

      Yep. Holebas over Nyom?

Possibly Redmond ahead of Allen as he might play up top. Looks good to go either way.

    Can't decide....

    Cech (Pickford)
    Stones, Brunt, Cedric (Holebas, Love)
    Sanchez, Firmino, Allen, Hazard, Sigurdsson
    Kane, Iheanacho (Deeney)

    1. Stones, Firmino -> Alonso, Payet (-4 hit)
    2. Deeney, Firmino -> Costa, Antonio or Costa, bench striker (play 3-5-2)
    4. Firmino -> Payet
    3. Keep

Problem is everyone top 10 in my minileague except me and 2nd
place have Costa. I think 2nd place transferred him in today,
so i'm pretty much the only one without him.
Costa's inevitable 1YC is the only reason i still don't have him.

Solid transfer if you've got no more pressing issues.

    Stones >

    A) Charlie Daniels/Cook
    B) Cedric
    C) Jones
    D) Reid

    Looking around £5 million mark
Not allowed to ask why I have kept Stones from GW1...

Me too stuck on Stones since GW1.

Cedric followed by Jones I would suggest

    As a replacement for Austin:

    A. Okaka (I own Holebas & Capoue) I was really impressed with his style of play last match.
    Or
    B. Llorente (Dont have siggy)

    Thanks!

      C. Cannot believe Brunt only sits in 1% of teams! Completely OOP and West Brom look good this season.

    Or
