Fantasy managers are treated to the remaining eight matches of Gameweek 16 this Wednesday evening, with a trio of
encounters getting underway at 7.45pm.

Sadio Mane and Divock Origi are the form men as Liverpool look for a first win in three at the Riverside. Roberto Firmino arrives on the back of four straight blanks and was second only to Charlie Austin for transfers out in the Gameweek.

With Eden Hazard absent, the stage is set for Diego Costa as Chelsea visit Sunderland. The Blues frontman was the most captained player in Fantasy Premier League for Gameweek 16, with 23% handing him the armband.

West Ham embark on the first of three very favourable fixtures, with Dimitri Payet and Michail Antonio on our radars for the visit of Burnley.

In the 8pm matches, all eyes will be on Captain Poll winner Harry Kane as Spurs welcome Hull to White Hart Lane. We’ll also be monitoring Scout Picks duo Toby Alderweireld and Christian Eriksen against the struggling Tigers.

In-form pair Christian Benteke and Zlatan Ibrahimovic go head-to-head as Palace welcome United to Selhurst Park. With returns in six of the last seven, Wilfried Zaha was the most transferred in player for Gameweek 16.

With Sergio Aguero suspended, faith in Man City has dwindled ahead of what should be a plum home clash against Watford. Kevin De Bruyne is the man most likely as the Etihad side look to recover from back-to-back defeats.

We’re also keeping a keen eye on Differential Sofiane Boufal as Southampton head to Stoke. Having bagged the winner at home to ‘Boro, the Moroccan could be set to step up in the absence of Charlie Austin, promoting his prospects as a mid-price midfield candidate ahead of some fine fixtures.

West Brom have their work cut out to stop Gylfi Sigurdsson as Swansea make their way to the Hawthorns.

The Swans’ playmaker has racked up four goals and as many assists in eight appearances under Bob Bradley and faces a defence with one clean sheet in the last 12 Gameweeks.

Matt Phillips and Salomon Rondon also have the chance to maintain momentum tonight – Swansea have conceded 12 goals in four road trips since their new manager was installed.

Forget the penalty...Heaton had the better fixture imo

              Also Heaton is unbenchable

West Ham are 15th (18 goals scored), Swansea are 18th (20 goals scored). There's no way to deny that Swansea are absolute crap, so the fixture argument is a coin flip at best.

Heaton's last 3 games: 2, 0, 1, with only 1 save point. Burnley conceded 5 in the 2 games he missed, so not good form.

Foster's last 3 games: 3, 2, 2, with only 2 save points. But they did face Chelsea and have only conceded once in the last 4 games.

I have Heaton in goal every week with no backup, but to say he's unbenchable when you have Foster is a bit shortsighted imo.

I get why Ake has been good value and could be again.

But next 4: SOU, che, swa, ARS.

Could be a good move getting ahead of the curve if he should perform. Not completely convinced that United will score enough goals, but he seems he is finally settling in and getting returns.

Although I thought getting Carroll would be getting ahead of the curve, so what do I know 🙂

Dropped Clyne, picked up Cedric. Also went with Vertonghen over Rose so I could afford Monreal.

I think I lost my mind today after what happened. Took a -20, now I refuse to change my team (apart from captaincy) unless forced to by injury. Would like some thoughts on how it stands:

    Forster (Grant)
Alonso Clyne Van Dijk Vertonghen (Amat)
    Sanchez Hazard Sigurdsson Lallana (Phillips)
    Costa Kane (Diomande)

Competition is getting harder each year. Top 5k now is like top 1k 5 seasons ago. Everyone more clued up and savvy now.

Could see both starting, though I don't expect either to do much.

Iheanacho is mint and always plays well. Last time out the team played poorly.

There seems to be about 500k new players now each year and with everybody with a smart phone to keep track and make moves anytime anyplace it has increased competition for sure

      The word is spreading fast

    Only dropped 200 places
Dismal attacking performance, saved by my defence and subs

    Was on a 50/50 call between Eriksen/Ali,

I'm gutted I didn't go for Eriksen like we said 2 weeks ago. 🙁 Hope your team is doing better than mine.

          66k, still happy enough.
Real turbulence in the game this year.

    A) Benteke > Origi, then back to Benteke after Arsenal game? (No Pool attack)

    B) Sort out Cedric / Williams

    C) Save FT

    Which defender to sell?
    A. Cedric
    B. Holebas

    and which defender to buy?
    A. Ake
    B. Middlesborough def

I'd keep both. Cedric missed out due to illness and has BOU, and Holebas can get some attacking returns at Sunderland.

      Not worth the FT

    Heaton
    Azpi-alonso-pieters
    Sanchez-siggy-firmino- Phillips
    Costa-kane-defoe

    Bench - jaku,holebas,francis,capoue

I am chasing this season, need some green arrows.

Thinking to remove firmino, who should I transfer in?
Or keep firmino for another week as people are getting rid of him and he can be a great differential(2 pointer)
