Dugout Discussion – West Brom vs Man United

Saturday’s action concludes at the Hawthorns where Manchester United drop in on an in-form West Bromwich Albion.

The Fantasy attention will be split here, with United’s Zlatan Ibrahimovic owned by 28.4% and captained by 13% up against a popular West Brom rearguard.

While Tony Pulis’ defence has kept just a single clean sheet in 13, the likes of Gareth McAuley and Craig Dawson offer a big threat from set-pieces, while Chris Brunt’s delivery could be vital.

Brunt provided a pair of assists in the midweek victory over Swansea City from left-back but is pushed forward into a midfield role this evening as Dawson returns from suspension, shifting Allan Nyom to left-back.

Significantly, almost 500,000 of McAuley’s 1.2 million owners keep him on the bench for this one – 360,000 of Foster’s 664,000 ownership do the same with the Baggies keeper.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

                  60 matches... My interpretation is that he will get some rest during other tournaments. He won't risk not starting him over the festive period imo. H

                      imo he won't rest him right now, as he is far too valuable for the team and they need to win games now.
                      If you think he will, don't buy him if you think a potential one game rest is enough to keep you from buying him.

                  Not worried. He will be left out of as few games as is humanly possible.He's an asset over the next fixtures -1 I think.

                Based on those comments I can't see him being rested. Of course Mourinho can change his mind, but going on the information we have, I would say Zlatan not starting every match over the festive period is very unlikely.

            I just bought Costa at 10.6

            Tempted to keep Kane for another week and swap Costa -> Ibra instead.

            Keep Costa and end up with 3 unavailable players on the bench look risky somehow.

              Can someone tell me if ibra is suspended for next game? Just found that he has a yellow card in League cup, so 4+1=5? If league cup's card is not counted in this regard, why league cup game can be considered as a "suspended game" for the players not to miss the next epl game?
