Dugout Discussion – Chelsea vs Hull City

Gameweek 22 concludes at Stamford Bridge where leaders Chelsea will bid to extend the gap at the top with another three points against Hull City.

The Diego Costa circus monopolises the pre-match chatter and, with the striker recovered from a “back problem”, he is immediately re-installed to Antonio Conte’s starting line-up to lead the attack.

Costa is backed by 10.5% of Fantasy Premier League managers with the captaincy, while team-mate Eden Hazard earns the support of 7.6%.

The Belgian has returned just a goal and two assists in the last five Gameweeks, causing a good degree of fidgeting among his 33.1% ownership.

However, the omens are good for both Hazard and Costa today.

The latter has scored in all three of his previous Premier League appearances against Hull, while also providing two assists.

Equally, Hazard has scored three and earned an assist in his last four Premier League appearances against the Tigers.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

        Lallana kind of fell to my 5th mid which made it easy to move him for Tom Davies last night and get over 3 mill itb. Lots of $ for another player upgrade. I would expect Davies to be nailed for the next match with his form but maybe not long term.

        People talk about Costa's fixtures but:

        Liverpool: anyone can score past them atm and Costa scored in the reverse fixture
        Arsenal: Chelsea will want payback after the 3-0 loss - which in fact made Chelsea switch to the 343 formation. Costa was the one player in the Chelsea team who seemed like he cared about that 3-0 loss, so I think he'll be up for it

        I'm considering getting him in over Kane because I have Dele Alli and no other Chelsea attacker
