Overthinking? It’s what we do – don’t dare ask us to stop.

Particularly now that our heads are swimming with thoughts of blank and double Gameweeks. All those variables, all that planning and strategising: we’re in our element.

Once again, thanks to another bout of community questions, Jonty and Andy join me for another ScoutCast dominated by chatter surrounding our tactics and transfers approaching the missing fixtures.

We break off to nominate the new Premier League whipping boys, while we ponder whether to proclaim Sigurdsson as “essential”, revisit Coleman vs Baines and assess whether the blanks are reason enough to be rid of Alexis Sanchez.

For my money, that’s one decision that requires very little thinking.

    Am I mad to consider Kun(C) ?
    My thinking process is that I that if I still have him I should go with the whole idea about it and try to take advantage of him as a differential now.

    Probleme is that I don't know if Pep can actually bench Jesus this WE (although he played 2 full gales this week) and I am not sure he can accomodate Kun + Jesus

    what do you think?

      I am so unsure about Aguero now.

      I went to bed last night thinking that I would get rid for Costa and it would allow me to upgrade Cabaye to Coutinho or Firmino

      Now I have doubts again. I just need to get rid I think, its been an unmitigated disaster.

      Then again if Pep says he is starting it is Swansea at home.

      But pep isnt going to be that helpful is he?

        he won't but I think pep can't afford benching aguero. ONe of the reason is the selling value of the player if they have decided to bench him

        I think Aguero had a knock and it was a good opportunity for Pep to also put some pressure on him with jesus

          didnt exactly look interested though when he came on. Long term he isnt part of the picture

          Issue is replacement for me would be Costa but how can I bring in Costa vs Arsenal when Aguero plays Swansea?

      Yeah - could be the mother of all differentials. Is not as if any other of the big name strikers are on electric form. Worth a punt I think 🙂

      Same question here, Liverpool not exactly free-scoring atm and have awful form, hull have tightened up and look in for a fight to stay up. Hull are at home and stoke are away to a fairly free-scoring west brom.

      Head says grant but gut says jaku. Both nailed for 2 points 🙂

    If Holebas doesn't play (BUR), I'll be left with just two playing defenders as Daniels and Amat are redundant. Would you take a chance on Holebas playing (I'm doubtful - they beat Arsenal without him) or would you take Holebas out for Baines for a hit?
